Juan Sebastián Muñoz Amaya, the Colombian professional golfer, was born on January 4, 1993. After going pro in 2015, he participated in the Developmental Series of the PGA Tour Latinoamérica, where he took home two titles.

Muñoz's performance in the series earned him exemption status for the first part of the 2016 PGA Tour Latinoamérica. On a sponsor's invitation, he did win the Club Colombia Championship on the Web.com Tour in February 2016.

Muñoz began playing for LIV Golf in 2023 after spending the majority of his career on the PGA Tour. Muñoz was chosen to play in three games, winning two of them and tying the other in the 2022 Presidents Cup.

Sebastián Muñoz's Driver

Currently, Muñoz uses a full bag of Ping clubs in addition to a TaylorMade fairway wood. He uses a Ping G425 Max driver, which has nine degrees of loft. Ping introduced a new 26-gram tungsten movable weight called a CG Shifter, which was one of the main differences between the G425 and the G410.

The driver's dragonfly crown design innovations allowed for weight savings, which made this achievable. To adjust for forgiveness and shot shape, the weight can be fastened in one of three positions: neutral, draw, or fade. In comparison to the G410 Plus, the average MOI (Moment of Inertia) increase is 14% for all three weight positions.

Sebastián Muñoz's Fairways

Muñoz then made a decision to include a TaylorMade SIM three-wood, which has been around for a while. Since the fairway wood slot is the most difficult to hit in the bag, it is observed that many elite players use older models; thus, this tends to add up.

It is therefore difficult for a player to switch once they have found a model they like and trust. He also has a Ping G425 Max seven-wood with him.

Sebastián Muñoz's Irons

The course, the circumstances, and other things frequently affect Muñoz's long irons. His Ping G410 Crossover, for instance, is used and removed from the bag before being replaced with a Ping i200 three-iron.

After that, he used Ping i210s from four to nine irons, and a Ping iBlade pitching wedge was just added to the set-up.

Sebastián Muñoz's Wedges

Muñoz has two distinct wedge models with him: a 50-degree Ping Glide 2.0 Stealth and Ping Glide 3.0 versions for the 56 and 60-degree wedges.

It's noteworthy that Muñoz has opted to go with the older Ping Glide 4.0 model, indicating his desire to keep getting the performance he needs from a more traditional range.

Sebastián Muñoz's Putter

Sebastián Muñoz makes use of a Ping Kushin 4, and he was using a Ping Sigma 2 Valor as his putter. He seems to have added a Ping PLD prototype blade to the collection, though.

Sebastián Muñoz's Golf Ball

Lastly, Muñoz plays with a Titleist Pro V1, a ball that is highly favored on the tour. The ball delivers an exceptional yet unique all-around performance, making it a top performer both on the tour and in amateur tournaments. The strength and consistency of the flying, especially in the wind, also left us quite impressed.
