Sepp Straka's Caddie
Sepp Straka's caddie is Duane Bock as of April 2025.
Bock took over as caddie for Straka after Kevin Kisner, Bock's ex-boss, decided to take a hiatus from the game. The two teamed together in the summer of 2023, and Straka won the John Deere Classic. In an interview with Golf, Straka said he had known Bock for a while through his friend Kisner. With Kisner taking a break, he decided to borrow "Duey" as a caddie, adding, “It’s worked out great. I love Duey. He’s a great caddie, and I’m really happy to have him on the bag.” (via Golf Monthly)
Bock is from East Hampton, New York, and attended East Hampton High in 1987, followed by Campbell University. He played junior golf and won the 1992 North and South Amateur Championship. By the end of 1999, he was ranked the nation's No. 9 amateur. Bock has been caddying for two decades, since 2005, and has previously been associated with Ken Duke, Doug LaBelle, and Kevin Kisner. On the tour, Bock is also known as "Dewey." In a 2019 interview with the Caddie Network, Duey shared that his nickname began in elementary school when friends noticed his name was Duane, not Dewayne. He said:
”Started in Elementary School. Friends thought it was neat my name was DUane and not DEwayne. One day we went to the library and learned about the “Dewey Decibel System” and from that day forward, I’ve been called Dewey."
