Im Sung-jae, commonly known as Sungjae Im, was born on 30 March 1998 and is a professional South Korean golfer. Im won twice and was named Player of the Year on the 2018 Web.com Tour. Additionally, he was named Rookie of the Year on the 2018-19 PGA Tour. In March 2020, he won his first PGA Tour title at The Honda Classic. Im has 6 professional wins under his name and his highest career ranking is 16 as of 24th September 2023.

During the Web.com Tour Q-school in December 2017, Im finished second and had an impressive third-round score of 60. At the age of 19 years and 292 days, Im won The Bahamas Great Exuma Classic, becoming the second youngest winner in Web.com Tour history.

Im was PGA Tour Rookie of the Year for the year 2018-19. He was also the FedEx Cup's 13th rookie to qualify for the Tour Championship.

Im represented the International squad at the 2019 Presidents Cup at Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Australia in December 2019. The United States squad won 16-14. Im won his Sunday singles match against Gary Woodland 3-1-1.

Im finished tied for second place at the Masters Tournament in November 2020, five strokes behind Dustin Johnson.

Im traveled to South Korea the week before the PGA Championship in May 2023 to compete in the Woori Financial Group Championship on the Korean Tour. He won by one stroke with a final-round 68 that included an up-and-down eagle on the final hole.
