American golfer Taylor Allen Montgomery was born on January 30, 1995. He competes on the PGA Tour. Taylor, the son of Mikella and Monte Montgomery, lives in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Monte Montgomery, Taylor’s father, played walk-on golf for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and is a native of Colorado. From 1989 to 1992, Monte was a member of the UNLV Rebels and a second-team All-American.

In 1994, Monte finished 24th in his only PGA Tour appearance after making the cut for the Buick Invitational of California at Torrey Pines Golf Course. At the Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas, Monte later rose to the position of general manager.

Taylor Montgomery, a two-time high school state champion and one-time college champion, had some difficulties at the beginning of his professional career but eventually rose to the top of the Korn Ferry Tour. At the developmental level, he never won a tournament, but he did finish in the top-10 fourteen times overall and had five runner-up finishes.

Taylor has positioned himself to claim the title of 2022–2023 Rookie of the Year and is expected to remain a top contender for many years to come.
