As an amateur, he finished tied for first place in the 2014 U.S. Amateur Qualification stroke play. After becoming professional in 2016, he had a strong debut season on the PGA Tour Canada, finishing in the top-10 five times and winning one.

After finishing fourth on the regular season points list in 2022, he received a spot on the PGA Tour. He had previously won the Memorial Health Championship in 2021. He finished in the top 10 four times and missed 10 cuts out of 28 events in the 2022 season.

He won his first PGA Tour event at the 2023 Valspar Championship, defeating Adam Schenk by one stroke after recovering from a two-shot deficit in the final round to finish with a total score of 274, under 10. He participated in 31 tournaments that season, making the cut in 21, finishing in the top-25s 13 times and the top-10s four times.

As of April 2024, he had competed in ten events, with his best finish coming at the Texas Children's Houston Open, where he tied for second place with Tony Finau, Scottie Scheffler, Alejandro Tosti, and Thomas Detry, losing to Stephan Jaeger by one stroke.
