“Thank you sobriety”: Anthony Kim pays homage to his struggles as he shares wholesome photos with his family

Since joining LIV Golf earlier this year, Anthony Kim has been one of the most active golfers on social media, especially X. The 39-year-old golfer regularly shares pictures and videos of his practice sessions and family with a caption filled with gratitude towards life and sobriety.

Recently, he shared pictures of his daughter and wife and a couple of videos of him playing golf. He shared these with a gratitude caption and wrote:

"Thank U sobriety, my family/friends & every1 that has supported me & my family this year. Wishing yall a safe HNY learned a lot in 24 & am looking 4ward 2 an incredible 2025. 1% better everyday livgolf_league @excrgolf @BianchetWatches."

Anthony Kim made a comeback to pro golf after 12 years as he last competed on the PGA Tour in 2012 at the Wells Fargo Championship. In June 2012, he underwent surgery on an injured Achilles tendon on his left leg and sadly never made a comeback until earlier this year when he joined LIV Golf as a wildcard.

Anthony Kim talks about his relationship with golf

In his interview after joining LIV Golf, Anthony Kim revealed that he had never loved playing golf before but has started falling in love with the game. He said (via Golf.com):

"I have an interesting relationship with golf. I don’t think I ever loved it," he said. "What’s very weird to me right now is that I am falling in love with the game.

"That’s such a weird spot for me because golf was filled with pressure. Golf was filled with lots of different emotions for me. Because my family had to go through a lot to get my this opportunity to play golf. So with that added pressure, I was willing to risk a lot more. That was my nature. I was aggressive on the golf course, I was aggressive off the golf course, and that led to my demise."

Anthony Kim had a below-average performance on LIV Golf this year. He finished 56th in the season-long standings. His best finish came at the Greenbrier event, where he finished 36th for the event. The 39-year-old golfer did not make a single top-10 or 20 finish this season.
