Thomas Detry, a Belgian professional golfer, born on January 13, 1993, is a member of the PGA Tour and European Tour as of February 2025. Detry began playing golf at the age of five and went to Golf Flanders Topsportschool Vlaanderen in Hasselt. By 13, he was competing internationally, and at 16, he won his first amateur title, the Riverwoods Junior Open, in 2009. After graduating in 2012, Detry joined the University of Illinois, where he was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2013 and Big Ten Golfer of the Year in 2015. He won 14 amateur titles and reached a world amateur ranking of No. 5 before turning professional in 2016.

Detry began his professional career on the Challenge Tour, winning his first title at the 2016 Bridgestone Challenge. His second professional win came at the 2018 ISPS Handa Melbourne World Cup of Golf, where he partnered with his college friend and fellow pro golfer, Thomas Pieters. He joined the PGA Tour in 2023 and claimed his first PGA Tour win at the 2025 WM Phoenix Open. This win moved him in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) from No. 58 to No. 22, and as of February 2025, he is ranked No. 23.
