Thorbjorn Olesen’s Driver
Olesen used to be sponsored by Nike, but they stopped making clubs in 2016, which meant he was one of the few players on the Tour without an equipment contract. As a result, he often used clubs from various brands. However, in 2022, he signed with TaylorMade and now uses a complete set of their clubs.
He begins with the TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus driver, a great all-around model. It has a compact design that isn't too intimidating and can adjust the weights to achieve a specific shot shape. Olesen's driver has a Mitsubishi Tensei AV Raw White Prototype 65 TX shaft.
Thorbjorn Olesen’s Fairways
Olesen's golf club setup includes a TaylorMade Stealth fairway, which he uses as his three-wood. He also prefers the newer Stealth 2 model as his five-wood. The clubheads have 15 and 18 degrees of loft, respectively. The three-wood is the HL (High Launch) model. Both fairways have Mitsubishi Tensei CK Pro White 80 TX and Mitsubishi Tensei AV Raw White Prototype 85 TX shafts, respectively.
Thorbjorn Olesen’s Irons
Olesen had previously used a TaylorMade RSi UDI utility iron and PSi Tour irons, but he has now replaced them with a three-iron from P790 and the latest set of P7MCs. This new set includes irons from four to pitching wedge. Compared to the previous generation, the head size of the P7MCs looks slightly smaller, and the muscle cavity section behind the hitting area is also reduced. The raised lines on the back of the club no longer go all the way across. All of his irons have Project X 6.5 shafts.
Thorbjorn Olesen’s Wedges
Olesen used to have Callaway wedges in his bag, but he has recently switched to TaylorMade Hi-Toe 3 wedges. This is the third iteration of the Hi-Toe design and performs exceptionally well on the course. His wedges have a loft of 56 and 60 degrees.
Thorbjorn Olesen’s Putter
Olesen used a Scotty Cameron Prototype putter with a Newport design for a long time. He has now switched to a TaylorMade TP Collection Juno putter, which has a similar shape. He has been using this type of putter for some time and has no plans to change.
