Tiger Woods, the golfing maestro, has undeniably etched his legacy in the sport. Bursting onto the scene in the late '90s, Woods swiftly became a dominant force, captivating fans with his exceptional talent and unwavering work ethic. His breakthrough at the 1997 Masters, winning by a record 12 strokes, marked the onset of a stellar career.

Woods' dominance peaked in the early 2000s, simultaneously clinching all four major titles in what became known as the "Tiger Slam." His assertive playing style and composed demeanour under pressure resulted in an impressive haul of 15 major championships and 82 PGA Tour victories.

Beyond the fairways, Woods transcended the boundaries of golf to become a global sports icon. His influence extended far beyond the golf course, breaking barriers and reshaping perceptions, attracting a more diverse audience to the sport.

However, Woods faced challenges on and off the course. Injuries and personal setbacks tested his mettle, leading to intermittent breaks from competitive golf. Nevertheless, Woods defied the odds with a triumphant comeback in 2019, securing his fifth Masters title. The victory showcased his golfing prowess and underscored his mental toughness and ability to overcome adversity.

Tiger Woods’s Driver

Several of the Tour Pros for the brand, including Rory McIlroy, will be carrying the new TaylorMade Qi10 driver this season, among the greatest golf drivers in 2024. However, Woods uses the 10.5-degree head, lower spinning Qi10 LS driver. Like the Stealth and Stealth 2 drivers, it features a carbon face, a speed pocket, and a sliding fade/draw weight to modify the shot shape. Woods uses his in-draw mode.

Woods switched from using a Fujikura Ventus Black 6 X in the TaylorMade Stealth Plus driver last season to a Graphite Design Tour AD VF 6 X shaft this time.

Tiger Woods’s Fairways

Tiger's choice of Fairway Woods is a great example of how he doesn't randomly switch clubs just because TaylorMade released a new model. He is carrying two kinds of wood: an older 2018 M3 5 wood with a 19-degree head that Tiger has adjusted to 18.25° and a 2020 SIM Ti 3 wood with a 15-degree head that is set to 14.25°. Mitsubishi Diamana D+ Limited 80 TX shafts are installed on both. When it comes to course fit, Woods does vary a little in this area, and on occasion, he may pull out a 2-iron instead of the 5-wood when he has to hit those infamous Tiger stingers.

Tiger Woods’s Irons

Tiger occasionally adds a longer iron to his bag when he isn't using the 5 wood, adding P770 2 iron to the 3 iron he always carries.

Woods, one of the greatest ball strikers of all time, has consistently utilised blades that resemble butter knives, and he still does. After briefly using a TaylorMade TW Phase 1 model, he has been using his current set, the TaylorMade P7TW, since 2019.

Tiger Woods’s Wedges

Given that most of his game is feel-based, Woods is extremely picky about his wedges. Because of this, he typically stays with a model that suits him. At the moment, he utilises two TaylorMade MG4 models in the TW grind, with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shafts and lofts of 56 and 60 degrees. These are some of the greatest golf wedges for spin control because Tiger is arguably the most precise player in the game.

The 60° wedge features a shaved heel and an exceptionally strong leading edge bounce, whereas the 56° wedge has a dual sole with significant heel relief. Although it looks like he doesn't have a gap wedge in his setup, it's possible that his sand wedge is stronger than the stated 56° or that his putter is somewhat weaker.

Tiger Woods’s Putter

Given that Tiger Woods utilised his flat stick to win 14 of his 15 major championships, it is likely the most well-known putter in the world. His old trusty is the legendary Scotty Cameron GSS Newport 2, of which he has had many backups over the years, including a 2001 model that brought $44,000 at auction. Woods has customised it with a blacked-out Ping PP58 grip.

Tiger Woods’s Golf Ball

Tiger has a history of using softer golf balls because they give him more spin, which helps him control the ball and shape it around the greens. He chose to use the softer three-piece balls in the range after agreeing to a golf ball contract with Bridgestone in late 2016, following Nike's decision to cease producing equipment.

The most recent example of such was the Bridgestone Tour B XS, which he had been wearing from the brand's 2020 launch, though in 2022 he transitioned to the more robust Bridgestone Tour B X model. Woods discovered that Bridgestone B X carried 10 additional yards, according to Golf.com. Before the Genesis Invitational Open in February 2024, it was revealed that Tiger had changed to the new Bridgestone 2024 Tour B X.

Tiger Woods's Shoes

After a 27-year collaboration, Tiger and Nike parted ways at the start of 2024. It was revealed before the Genesis Invitational in February that Woods was starting his own clothing line, Sun Day Red. He will therefore be donning shoes and apparel from the Sun Day Red collection, which is affiliated with TaylorMade, starting in 2024.
