Tom Kim, whose full name is Kim Joo-hyung, is ranked 23rd in the Official World Golf Ranking, as of April 2024. He has 12 professional victories, including three on the PGA Tour and two in Asian and Korean events.
Kim was one of three players who qualified for the Genesis Scottish Open in July through the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA). The event was co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour and the European Tour. Kim placed solo third in the tournament.
He won the Wyndham Championship in August 2022 and qualified for the 2022 FedEx Cup Playoffs with a final-round 61. He had a quadruple-bogey 8 to start the Wyndham Championship, but he closed it with a 9-under 61 to win by five shots.
Kim made it onto the national team for the 2022 Presidents Cup; he played five matches, winning two of them and losing three of them. Because of his exciting play, the media praised Kim as one of the event's stars.
After Tiger Woods in 1996, Kim is the only golfer to win two titles on the tour before turning 21. Kim achieved this feat in October 2022 when he won the Shriners Children's Open in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition, he successfully defended his in October 2023 by a single stroke against Adam Hadwin.

Tom Kim’s Driver
Kim uses a Titleist TSR3 driver, which was rated as one of the top drivers in testing by Golf Monthly. The TSR line was introduced in 2022, and the TSR3 head is the most adaptable of the three new models owing to a movable weight in the back of the head.
He uses a Graphite Design Tour AD VF 6 X shaft, which replaced his old Fujikura Atmos Black 6 X shaft, and plays it with nine degrees of loft.

Tom Kim’s Fairways
Kim uses a Fujikura Atmos Tour Spec Black 7 X shaft with a Titleist TSi3 three-wood that has a loft of 15 degrees. The TSi3, despite being an older model, is still among the greatest fairway woods. Furthermore, he was carrying a five-wood that looked to be a hybrid, a more recent Titleist TSR2 model with 18 degrees of loft.
Tom Kim’s Hybrid
Kim plays a 19-degree lofted Titleist TSR3 hybrid. The movable weight mechanism in the sole was considered the most notable innovation in Golf Monthly's testing, providing a more forceful feel and a lower-pitched sound.
It is stylish and simple to operate, and when adjusted, the ball flight, which was really steady, was affected.
Tom Kim’s Irons
Kim uses 2023 Titleist T200 models for his two and three irons and 2023 Titleist T100 models for the remaining irons in his collection, which range from four to nine irons.
According to Golf Monthly's testing, the T200 appears to provide the perfect balance of performance qualities in terms of control and forgiveness when needed for any low handicap player who isn't the finest ball striker or a serious golfer in the low teen handicap area.
The T100 is an iron designed for low handicappers who want a traditional, compact shape with some forgiveness. They have forged cavity construction with classic players' iron lofts.
The 3–7 irons include tungsten weighting, which increases the forgiveness of off-center strikes, and the face is sensitive and thin. It's a good, compact iron for better players seeking a balance between control and consistency.
Tom Kim’s Wedges
As of April 2024, Kim has three Titleist Vokey wedges, two of which are SM10 models, but the exact specification is unknown because Kim has removed the loft, bounce, and grind identification from the sole and replaced it with the letters P, G, and L, presumably for Pitching, Gap, and Lob. He prototyped his 'L' wedge with Vokey WedgeWorks.
All of his wedges are equipped with True Temper Dynamic Gold X100 shafts.
Tom Kim’s Putter
The last club Kim has in her bag is a Scotty Cameron TourType GSS Prototype, which has a blade design that's a lot like Scottie Scheffler's. Using PGA Tour social media, Kim stated, "I play a GSS TT (TourType) blade."
Tom Kim’s Golf Ball
Kim uses the Titleist Pro V1x golf ball, as do many other Titleist professionals. It has the same softer cover and redesigned 2.0 ZG Process Core as the Pro V1, which improves feel and control while also increasing distance.
Lastly, Kim has transitioned to using Nike golf shoes and apparel after showing up to the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions wearing the company's gear.
