#1 Louis Oosthuizen
Coached by Pete Cowen, the South African has, according to even most tour players, the best swing on tour. 4 key components of his swing are reliability, efficiency, flexibility and innovation.
He adds that he practices with one aim in mind: to be able to swing it the same way everytime which helps in alleviating pressure in clutch situations. He focuses on not allowing the clubhead to get too far outside of his hands on the way back so that the clubhead can then follow the hands down on the same line.
Oosthuizen is very visually active on the golf course, he likes to see a lot of different shots no matter what the lie, stance or situation is. If he feels like he can pull it off, he goes for it more often than not. Knowing that, it’s not so hard to go back and see how he pulled a lot of miraculous shots off during the Open championship week in 2011.
