WATCH: Charley Hull’s incredible putt steals Nelly Korda’s solo lead briefly

Charley Hull is putting in a strong performance in the third round of the 2024 AIG Women's Open. Representing Great Britain, Hull briefly tied with Nelly Korda's commanding lead at the event.

On the Old Course at St. Andrews, Hull showcased exceptional putting skills, following an impressive 27 putts on the opening day. On par four, third hole, she placed her approach shot within 15 feet of the pin. Hull successfully converted the challenging putt, carding a birdie and tying World No.1 Nelly Korda for the lead.

Unfortunately, Hull's lead was short-lived. After carding a par on the fourth hole, the 28-year-old struggled on the challenging fifth hole.

Hull overshot the green with a wood and found two bunkers, resulting in a double bogey 7. She lost her lead due to this costly mistake and dropped down the leaderboard.

However, the 28-year-old did not let the setback faze her, as she went on to make par over the next five holes to remain well within contention. Unfortunately, she carded in a bogey on the par-three eleventh hole.

Hull now sits tied for sixth place with a score of three under par after three days, but still has eight more holes to play in the third round. She shares the position on the leaderboard with Jeeno Thtikul, Lydia Ko, Alexa Pano, and Jin Hee Im.

Charley Hull carded in an incredible opening round score of five under par 67. In search of her first win of the season, the two-time LPGA Tour winner went on to card an even par 72 the next day.
