WATCH: Ewen Ferguson makes bizarre shot to take solo lead in Hero Dubai Desert Classic

Ewen Ferguson bears the solo lead at the 2025 Hero Dubai Desert Classic following the conclusion of the second round on January 17. The Scottish golfer displayed some stellar skills at the Emirates Golf Club. However, his performance at the par 5 18th hole left fans and commentators alike captivated.

On the 557-yard-long final hole of the day, Ferguson placed his 288-yard-long tee shot right in the middle of the fairway. Faced with 244 yards to the pin, the 28-year-old played a wood that bounced on the rough to the back of the green.

With the pin positioned at the back of the green, the golf ball received a strong kick, rolling onto the green and following the slope nicely. It came to rest just 4 feet and 8 inches from the hole.
