Golf's social media sensation, Paige Spiranac, has been a passionate golfer since the age of 12. Renowned for her instructional videos on YouTube, the influencer has expanded her golf expertise into coaching.

Having played NCAA Division 1 colligate golf for the University of Arizona and San Diego State University, Spiranac tried her luck as a professional and now plays in celebrity tournaments. The 31-year-old was recently spotted at the 2024 Fanatics Fest in New York City, giving Michael Rubin a golf lesson.

Rubin is the CEO of Fanatics, an online sports merchandising retailer. According to Forbes, the business mogul has a net worth of $11.5 billion. In addition to helping Rubin, Spiranac also gave lessons to comedian Druski.

Michael Rubin even shared a video with his 1.1 million followers on Instagram.

Spiranac is a panelist at the ongoing 2024 Fanatics Fest, which is being held at the Javits Center in New York City. She participated in the "Athletes and Icons: Women Transforming Sports Through Media" panel.

The panel took place on Saturday, August 17th, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM EST. Paige Spiranac shared the stage with a star-studded lineup, including fellow Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model and gymnast Livvy Dunne, actress La La Anthony, social media influencer Allison Kuch, and Shelley Zalis, CEO of the Female Quotient

"I have seen sports psychologists" - Paige Spiranac on her mental struggles in golf

Paige Spiranac recently hosted a question-and-answer session on Instagram. When asked about her golf game's strengths and weaknesses, the former collegiate star offered candid insights.

Having been one of the world's top-performing junior golfers, Spiranac graduated to collegiate golf, where she picked up several honors. She soon went on to try her luck as a professional on the Cactus Tour, where she holds her maiden and only title. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model was inspired to get into the LPGA Tour but failed to earn her card in a Q-School event in 2016. She gave up that dream after the failed attempt.

Here's what Spiranac had to say about her mental struggles on the course:

"My biggest weakness is that I am the world's biggest headcase during competition. If I have to play golf under pressure, [I'm] crumbling. ... I have always been that way. ... And I can't fix it. I have seen sports psychologists."
"It's so hard when you have worked majority of your life to reach a goal and you are physically capable of doing it, but, mentally it holds you back. And you know you can compete at a high level but you were just never able to get over that hurdle and that's always really challenging," she added.
