WATCH: TaylorMade announces release date for new golf driver

TaylorMade is set to announce the launch of their new club. According to a trailer posted on their X (formerly known as Twitter) platform, their all new Qi35 driver will make its debut in the markets on January 7, 2025.

Here's a look into the sneak peek of the much anticipated driver that was captioned (via X @TaylorMadeGolf):

"Unlock another level. 1.7.25."

During last week's PNC Championship, Charlie Woods was spotted at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club with the new Qi35 driver in his hands. The prodigy had the club fitted with a Graphite Design AD VF 6X shaft - the same shaft that Tiger Woods uses in his TaylorMade Qi10 LS driver.

According to PGA Tour's spottings of the club last week, the crown of the club head is covered completely in carbon. The world 'carbon' is printed on the face of the club as well. As seen by their highly popular Stealth line, carbon fibre provides for better weight distribution and better aerodynamics.

LPGA Tour superstar Nelly Korda was also spotted using the Max version of the club at the 2024 Grant Thornton Invitational. While most details of the club remain unknown, it was added to the United States Golf Association (USGA)'s conforming list for the next calendar year.

TaylorMade's new launch is expected to be a hit following the huge success of the Qi10's launch in January this year. According to reports, the standard Qi35 model will come with lofts of 9 and 10.5 degrees. The Max version will be the most forgiving while the LS option will be best suited for golfers with a high swing speed looking for low spin.
