"Sage Valley is very much like Augusta"- Anna Davis comments on playing at Sage Valley before Augusta National

Before the 2023 Augusta National Women's Amateur, Anna Davis played a Junior Invitational at Sage Valley and won it. Regarding playing the 2023 Augusta tournament, she drew similarities between the two, she told Golf Week:

"The whole vibe of Sage Valley is very much like Augusta, so I think that kind of helped me last year. This tournament is two weeks before Augusta and I think that helped last year, for sure, being in the same type of environment."

The 17-year-old shared that she played in several new golf tournaments and each of them brought new experiences. According to Anna Davis, every tournament is a new journey and it's all about making new connections. She said:

"Just new experiences, in general, that I haven’t had before and building new connections on and off the golf course have been super cool. Getting to meet new people and all of it has changed for the better, for sure."
