The 2021 WGC Champion, Billy Horschel, has a total of 10 professional wins, including eight on the PGA Tour. Born on December 7, 1986, he enrolled at the University of Florida and played for the Florida Gators from 2006 to 2009. After which, he turned pro and earned a spot on the PGA Tour in 2010 through Q School.

Horschel is ranked No. 33 in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) as of July 2024. His newest win was in 2024, defeating Wesley Bryan by two strokes at the Corales Punctacana Championship. Further, he had his best major finish at the 2024 Open Championship, finishing tied for runner up and losing by a mere two strokes.

Billy Horschel’s Driver

In 2024, Horschel replaced his Titleist TSR3 driver with a Titleist GT3 driver; the newer model's Fujikura Ventus TR Black 6X shaft is the same. Horschel lauded the GT series of drivers upon their release, noting that they shared the same movable weight adjustment as the TSR3 driver. The American said as much: "It feels more solid to me. It’s faster, and the spin rate is more consistent."

Billy Horschel’s Fairways

Horschel has been stuck with the slightly older TSi family of fairway woods, as per Golf Monthly, especially the TSi2 fairway, although he has opted for the more modern GT3 in the driver area. Horschel alternates between 15 and 18 degrees of loft, but he occasionally swaps the 18 for a 3-iron. They both have Project X HZURDUS Smoke Black shafts installed.

Billy Horschel’s Irons

Horschel uses a T100 in his 3-5 iron and 620 CBs in his 6-9 iron. He was previously using Ping Blueprints for his irons, but that changed in 2024 to benefit from newer models, as Titleists' tech is known for.

Horschel has done some odd things in the past to get his desired iron set look. Stronger lofts have always been his goal, but he did not like the extra offset that results from bending irons. For Horschel, the titleist has bent clubs 2-degree weak before grinding off the single number and stamping a new one on.

Billy Horschel’s Wedges

Horschel has four Titleist Vokey SM10s in his bag, each with a loft of 46, 52, 56, and 60 degrees, as of July 2024. Given how many elite pros use the model, it's not surprising that the SM10, a Titleist club, earned five stars in Golf Monthly's review.

In a nutshell, the 23 loft and bounce possibilities spread among the six distinct sole grinds make it one of the greatest golf wedges available on the market. It also has excellent feel and high levels of consistent spin.

Billy Horschel’s Putter

Prior to the 2024 Players Championship, Horschel went back to his reliable Ping Sigma2 Tyne 4 putter, having formerly used a Ping PLD Anser putter in a tour-only raw finish. After the switch, Horschel won after a two-year winless drought; in April 2024, he won the Corales Puntacana Championship.

Billy Horschel’s Golf Ball

Horschel has been using the Titleist Pro V1 golf ball for a while. Several top golfers use the Pro V1, one of the best golf balls available on the market. Its exceptional all-around performance, which includes remarkable long game distance, amazing control on the greens, and high levels of consistency all while having a soft feel, is the basis for this. The Golf Monthly claims that it's even better if played against the wind.
