Cameron Smith is a professional golfer of Australia who was born on August 18, 1993, in Brisbane, Queensland, to Des Smith and Sharon Smith. As of 2023, Cameron is 30 and resides in Jacksonville, Florida, U.S. with his loved ones. Currently, he is dating Shanel Naoum, a chiropractic professional.

Cameron's father, Des Smith, has played a great part in shaping Cameron’s journey. When Cameron was just two years old, he started playing golf at Wantima Country Club of Brisbane, in which his father was a club captain. As an amateur, he earned numerous accomplishments in various golf events, including the Australian Boys’ Amateur (2011), Australian Amateur Stroke Play (2011), Australian Amateur Medalist (2012) and Australian Amateur (2013).

Cameron became a pro in the year 2013 and won a total of 12 professional wins, including 6 PGA Tour and 4 European Tour. His biggest success came in The Open Championship (2022). In 2014, Cameron Smith earned the title of Asian Tour Rookie of the Year in 2014 and PGA Player of the Year in 2022. He reached his highest ranking of second place in the Official World Golf Ranking as of July 17, 2022. Currently, he plays in the LIV Golf.

Cameron Smith’s Driver

Smith uses the Titleist TSR3 driver of 10 degrees (at 10.75 degrees) loft angle and has a swing weight of D4. It is equipped with Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 6 X shaft, which has a standard length of 46 inches and weighs 67.5 grams for regular flex. This combination maintains good stability and offers a smooth feel, low spin rate, superior control with optimal balance, consistency, and better performance.

Cameron Smith’s Woods

  1. 3 - Wood :- This wood is of Ping brand and G430 Max is the model number of it. Its loft angle is 15 degrees (adjustable +/- 1.5 degrees) with a length of 43 inches (standard length). The Swingweight is D4 SureFit. This wood is equipped with Fujikura Ventus Blue 8 X, which has X-Stiff flex. This wood offers maximum forgiveness and helps to balance distance and accuracy.

  1. 7-wood:- This Titleist TS2 fairway wood comes with 18 degrees loft angle (adjustable +/- 1 degree) and has a swing weight of D4 SureFit. With a UST Elements Red 8F5 (X) shaft, this wood provides versatility and is basically designed for balance and accuracy.

Cameron Smith’s Irons

  1. Cameron uses a Mizuno brand iron and its model number is Pro Fli-Hi (3). The loft is 19 degrees with a lie angle of 59.5 degrees and a length of 39.25 inches. It is made especially for off center hits and provides better contract and consistency, versatility, higher ball flight and suitability for various situations.

  2. Cameron’s other iron is from the Titleist brand (Model no: T100 Black). It has a set composition of 4-9 irons. The shaft used in it is KBS Tour 130 Custom Matte Black X shaft with X-Stiff flex. The combination of this shaft and the iron is basically for skilled players, which offer exceptional control, shape-shifting capabilities, better customization, consistent feel, and high level performance.

Cameron Smith’s Wedge

Cameron’s wedge is also from Titleist brand (Model: Vokey SM9) and the set composition is 45°, 52°, 56°, 60° wedges. The shaft used in it is KBS Tour 130 X. This wedge is designed for specific distance and shot-making purposes with better precision and feel. It also has spin-controlling ability and provides a wide range of shots over the green.

Cameron Smith’s Putter

Currently, Cameron is using the 009M Prototype putter of the Scotty Cameron brand, which comes with an authentic grip. Its head style is Newport 1.5 style head with a scotty dog, a jester stamp, a circle T stamp, and a sight dot with Black oxide finish. The weight of this putter is around 350 grams.
