Russell Henley, an American professional golfer, competes on the PGA Tour as of April 2025. He played college golf for the University of Georgia and won the 2010 Haskins Award. In 2011, still an amateur, he won the Stadion Classic at UGA to become the second golfer, after Daniel Summerhays, to win a professional event as an amateur on the Korn Ferry Tour. He also played at the 2011 Walker Cup and Palmer Cup. Later that season, he turned professional and won the Chiquita Classic in 2012.
Henley's first PGA win was at the 2013 Sony Open in Hawaii, his rookie season on the tour. He also represented the U.S. at the 2024 Presidents Cup. As of April 2025, he is ranked world No. 7, his career-high ranking, according to the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR). He has also won eight professional titles, including the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Russell Henley’s WITB
Russell Henley is a Titleist staffer; thus, nearly all clubs are Titleist. He plays the Titleist GT3 driver and 3-wood, paired with a TSi2 hybrid, the brand’s newest models. His iron setup blends a T200 4-iron with T100 irons (5–9), offering both forgiveness and precision. Henley opts for Titleist Vokey Design SM10 wedges. For putting, he trusts a Scotty Cameron T5 Tour Prototype and rounds out his setup with Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips and a Titleist Pro V1x ball (via the PGA Tour).

Russell Henley’s Driver - Titleist GT3
Henley's driver is a Titleist GT3 with a 10-degree loft, installed with a Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black 70 6.5 TX shaft. As per Golf Monthly, it offers the highest levels of adjustability, with decent spin and forgiveness. However, some golfers may find it unsuitable due to its compactness and pear-shaped profile.
Russell Henley’s Fairway - Titleist GT3
Henley's fairway, a 3-wood, is also the same as his driver, a Titleist GT3. But fitted with a Project X HZRDUS Smoke Black 80 TX shaft and angled at 16.5 degrees. Titleist developed a material entirely new to golf club design, which they call a proprietary matrix polymer, to be used in the crown area of the GT. This was done primarily to make the GT range faster than the prior TSR series. (via Golf Monthly)
Russell Henley’s Hybrid - Titleist TSi2
Instead of a 5-wood, Henley carries a hybrid, a Titleist TSi2 with 21 degrees and a Mitsubishi MMT Hybrid 100 TX shaft. The TSi2 is straightforward to aim and a pleasant address to look at. Along with a strong launch, it offered remarkable off-center forgiveness, distance, and consistency during a neutral flight.
Russell Henley’s Irons - Titleist T200 & T100
Henley uses two sets of Titleist models for irons, T200s and T100s. The former is a four-iron, while the latter is from five-iron to nine-iron. Also, the T200 is fitted with a Mitsubishi MMT Hybrid 100 TX shaft. T100, on the other hand, has a True Temper Dynamic Gold AMT shaft from the fifth to the sixth iron and a True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shaft from the seventh to the ninth.
Russell Henley’s Wedges - Titleist Vokey SM10
Henley plays four Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges with varying lofts and grinds, bent slightly to fit his setup. His 48-10F wedge, bent to 47 degrees, is paired with a True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shaft. The 50-08F wedge, bent to 51 degrees, is fitted with a True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shaft. While the 54-10S wedge is adjusted to 55 degrees and the 60-04T wedge retains its original loft, both appear to maintain the same S400 shaft profile for consistency around the greens.
The Vokey SM10 wedge, in comparison to its previous model, has certain minor changes but is huge performance-wise. This wedge's predictability and control are improved by its lower launch, higher spin, and more centrally located CG (Golf Monthly).
Russell Henley’s Putter - Scotty Cameron T5 Tour Proto
Henley uses the Scotty Cameron T5 Tour Prototype putter, as per the PGA Tour.
Russell Henley’s Golf Ball - Titleist Pro V1x
Henley uses the latest iteration of the Titleist Pro V1x golf ball, which offers great consistency and a ball flight that combines control and distance for golfers.
