What is the projected cutline for the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic

The 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic is currently underway at the Detroit Golf Club in Michigan. The second round is being played today and will have a cut imposed after the conclusion of the day.

With a whopping $8.8 million and 500 FedEx Cup Points on the line, only the top 65 players, including ties, will make it through to the weekend. Most players in the field have finished playing their second round with the projected cut line sitting at three under par.

There are currently 15 players tied with a score of 3 under par at 59th place, just narrowly making their way inside the cut line. However, they are not guaranteed a spot into the weekend as ten players are yet to finish their round.

At the 2023 edition of the Rocket Mortgage Classic, Rickie Fowler, Collin Morikawa, and Adam Hadwin had entered into a playoff for the title. However, with Fowler taking home the championship, Morikawa and Hadwin settled tied for second place. This year, only Rickie Fowler is in the field and sits well within the cut line at a total six under par score for two days of the event.
