Charlie Woods, the rising golf sensation and son of legend Tiger Woods, has been making waves on the golf course. Not only is the 15-year-old gearing up to win tournaments, but he's also balancing his school life with an incredibly bright future in the sport.
The young amateur is currently attending The Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The private preparatory school is known for its commitment to providing budding athletes like Charlie the ability to thrive academically and athletically. PGA Tour star Justin Leonard's son Luke also attends the same school and is a part of the institution's growing golf team with Toby Harbeck as head coach.
Charlie and Luke aided in leading their school to win the Florida High School Athletic Association Class A championship last year. Following the achievement, the team fell just short of defending their title. The 82-time PGA Tour winner's son emerged as the second-best player on the team while the Benjamin School placed third.
The prodigy did not know if he'd take up golf as a career until the COVID-19 pandemic. Charlie was keen on pursuing his dreams as a soccer player. However, due to safety regulations, he was not able to play a team sport so he shifted his focus to golf.

The PNC Championship is filled with special moments shared between professional golfers and their families. During the second round of the 2024 edition of the tournament, Tiger Woods watched his son Charlie achieve an incredible milestone.
On the Ritz Carlton Golf Club's 176-yard long par three-fourth hole, Charlie recorded the first hole-in-one of his career with a seven iron in his hands. The 15-year-old prodigy was in disbelief as the hole was hidden from the tee box.
Charlie saw his ball start left of the pin and asked it to cut when it was mid-air to which it obliged. His father had to step away for a minute and missed the monumental achievement. As he stepped back out onto the tee box, he heard the crowd roaring before he realized what had just happened.
Woods did not hide his pride and rushed over to give his son a big hug while laughing before giving the teenager a lighthearted shove to display his joy. Here's a look into the scene at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club's fourth hole (via @PGATOUR on X):
