What is Travelers Championship dress code? All you need to know

The 2024 Travelers Championship is set to be played at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut. The tournament starring 71 of the best players will run from June 20 to 23 and feature a whopping $20 million purse prize and 700 FedEx Cup Points.

TPC River Highlands requests spectators to wear proper attire at all times, with an emphasis placed on shirts being tucked in. All shorts must be of Bermuda length or longer. Jeans are not permitted on the golf course. However, the tournament prefers that spectators wear golf attire.

All hats and caps must be worn, with the bill facing forwards. All players and spectators are requested to refrain from wearing golf shoes with metal spikes.

2024 Travelers Championship Spectator Guide

Spectators attending the 2024 Travelers Championship are requested to adhere to TPC River Highlands' code of conduct and club rules. Fans must keep all electronic devices on switch off or silent mode.

To permit a smooth tournament operation, fans can obtain autographs from the players only in the designated Autograph Zone located near the practice area. Obtaining autographs in any other area is strictly prohibited.

All fans will undergo a security screening at the gates of TPC River Highlands. Bag check area is not provided. Hence, patrons are required to be aware of their belongings. If found with any prohibited items, they must be stored away in their vehicles or else will be confiscated.

Opaque bags measuring greater than 6" x 6" x 6" are prohibited. A one gallon plastic bag will be permitted following inspection. Bags containing medically necessary equipment and baby care equipment will be allowed after inspection.

The 2024 Travelers Championship will have a designated family care station equipped with a diaper changing area and a lactation area. In case of a medical emergency, fans can seek aid at the First Aid tents. The tents can be found at the ninth hole green and by the 17th hole green. Public restrooms are available throughout the venue.

Spectators are expected to follow proper golf etiquette on the course. They must refrain from creating any unnecessary movement or noise while a player is playing. In case of bad weather, the 2024 Travelers Championship committee urges fans to carry an umbrella and adequate use of sun protection.
