The Women's PGA Cup is an international team competition for women PGA Professionals. There are teams from six countries in the Women's PGA Cup viz. the USA, Canada, Australia, Great Britain & Ireland, South Africa, and Sweden.
Each team will have five players who are PGA members and must be associated with the golf industry. All teams have to nominate a captain, similar to the Solheim Cup, who can be a playing or non-playing leader. The Women's PGA Cup qualification is through the WPGA Series points list or the Women's PGA Professional Championship points list.
The inaugural event of the Women's PGA Cup was played at the Barton Creek Resort in Austin, Texas, in October 2019. The 2024 Women's PGA Cup is the third edition, which will take place at Meadows Course in Sunriver Resort, Oregon, in the United States from October 3rd to 5th.
The format of play is a 54-hole stroke play with the low three of the five scores considered for the team total.
