On Sunday, 29 September, Team USA won the 2024 Presidents Cup, which was held at the Royal Montreal Golf Club in Quebec, Canada. After the 2007 edition of the tournament, this was the second time the Royal Montreal was hosting the event.

Now that the event has concluded, many golf fans desire to know where will the 2026 edition of the Presidents Cup be held. The answer to this question is the Medinah Country Club. In 2026, the biennial tournament will be held in this iconic golf club in Chicago, Illinois.

The Medinah Country Club has three golf courses; Course No. 3 is the most popular one and has hosted some of the best events in the sport. Designed by renowned golf architect Tom Bendelow, Course No. 3 is an 18-hole par 72 layout and has a length of 7,657 yards.

Until now, the Medinah Country Club in Chicago has hosted important events like the U.S. Open (1949, 1975, 1990), the U.S. Senior Open (1988), the PGA Championship (1999, 2006), and the Ryder Cup (2012). The 2026 President Cup will be the first time Medinah Country Club will host the iconic event.

A look at where the 2028 and 2030 Presidents Cup will be held

After Chicago in 2026, the Presidents Cup will be hosted by Australia in 2028. The Kingston Heath Golf Club in Melbourne will be tasked with hosting the event. For those unaware, the Kingston Heath Golf Club is considered one of the most iconic golf facilities in Australia.

Since being established in 1909, the Kingston Heath Golf Club relocated once in 1925. The course at the golf club was designed by professional golfer and golf architect Dan Soutar. Over the years, the golf club has been host to some of the biggest tournaments in the country's golf history.

In 2009, American golf legend Tiger Woods lifted the Australian Masters at this very course. Apart from Woods, legends like Garry Player, Rickie Fowler, and Adam Scott have all played at the Kingston Heath Golf Club. It has famously hosted the Australian Open and the World Cup of Golf.

After the Kingston Heath Golf Club in 2028, the Presidents Cup will return to the USA for the 2030 edition of the event. In 2030, the Presidents Cup will be held at the Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, Missouri. This club was originally opened in 1897, but it moved to the suburb of Town and Country in 1959.

This move saw a new course designed by legendary golf architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. A 18-hole par 71 course, the Bellerive Country Club is known for hosting big events. The 1965 U.S. Open, 1992 PGA Championship, and 2018 PGA Championship are a few of the many iconic tournaments held at this golf club.
