The Charles Schwab Cup Championship is the third event in the PGA Tour Champions Charles Schwab Cup playoffs. The first event was the Dominion Energy Charity Classic, where 72 golfers competed, with 54 making it to the next event, the Simmons Bank Championship. Following that, only 36 golfers have made it to the Charles Schwab Cup Championship.
These 36 golfers will tee off at the Phoenix Country Club for the Charles Schwab Cup Championship. The Phoenix Country Club is located in Arizona and the club was founded in 1899.
The golf course in the club was designed by Harry Collis and later revamped by Tom Lehman and John Fought in 2002. Following that, in 2009 and 2014, the Phoenix Country Club was honored by Platinum Clubs of America awards.
The course hosted the Phoenix Open between 1932 and 1986. It also hosted the Western Open in 1941 and 1942. The clubhouse has previously hosted the Charles Schwab Cup Championship in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
