Where did Nelly Korda end Round 3 at Paris Olympics 2024? Leaderboard standing explored

Nelly Korda turned in a solid performance on Friday, August 9, during the third round of the Paris 2024 Olympic Golf Tournament. Korda didn't get off to the best start but rallied to stay in medal contention.

After her debacle on the 16th hole of the second round, Korda played the third round at 2 under. This leaves her in a tie for 7th place on 4 under after 54 holes, four shots behind leaders Lydia Ko and Morgane Metraux.

Nelly Korda started the third round with two bogeys and no birdies on the first three holes. However, she was at her best from then on, making five birdies and no bogeys over the next 13 holes.

Korda struggled again at the end, making her third bogey of the day on the 17th. It was a 405-yard par 4 where Nelly Korda reached the green in two, but missed two putts inside five feet to lose her birdie and par chances.

The day before, Nelly Korda was on the verge of posting one of the best scores of the day. The World No. 1 had six birdies and no bogeys through 15 and was tied for second.

However, a quadruple bogey on the 16th and a bogey on the 17th saw her drop significantly down the leaderboard. Her birdie on the 18th sealed her round at 2 under.
