Players competing in The Open Championship can stay in rental houses or nearby hotels. The 2024 edition of the Major is scheduled to take place at Royal Troon, and the Official Open Accommodation Bureau is managing the accommodation services for the players, golf fans, hosts, volunteers, and media.

Players can rent property from the tournament's official website by contacting The Open Accommodation Bureau. They are the only official accommodation provider appointed by The R&A. To secure a property, one must complete a form providing the required information, including photos.

"The application form allows you to create an account, and once created you can add and amend property details including adding further photos or descriptions as many times as you would like until your property is live on the website," as mentioned on The Open Championship's website.

Moreover, if players are looking for hotel rooms, the website also lists hotels that can be booked directly.

According to The Open Championship's official website, golf fanatics can also stay at campsites that offer affordable and convenient pop-up campsites for golfers and their family members to enjoy the beauty of the prestigious tournament. The campsites are located in the nearby area of the golf course, within walking distance.

The price varies between practice days and championship days. It's £50 per person for the practice round, increasing to £70 on championship days.
