Golf fashionista Bri Teresi has been grabbing headlines for the past year or so by posting stunning photos of herself on social media, so much so that she has amassed close to 1.5 million followers on Instagram.

The model makes sure to grab eyeballs with her breathtaking photos and has become a very popular figure of late, much like Paige Spiranac did after she left the sport back in 2016.

What launched Bri Teresi to stardom?

It all started in 2020 when the 25-year-old Bri, a Guess Jeans model, decided to do a fun photoshoot for her friend Taylor Funk, the son of PGA Tour veteran Fred Funk. She then went for a drive while dressed in a pair of black, thigh-high boots, tiny shorts, and a crop top, an outfit chosen by her friend.

In an interview with the New York Post, she recalled:

"Taylor was at my apartment doing laundry because he had a tournament in the area. Then, he was like, ‘You need to wear these boots, trust me.'
"His mom golfs in heels all the time. He picked out my entire outfit, so I wore it."

Regarding her life after posting the video, Bri told the New York Post:

“I definitely noticed a big increase in engagement after I started posting golf content. When I started posting golf videos people were much more inclined to watch and comment as opposed to the typical bikini post.
“I have probably gained 200k-300k followers since and millions of views. It gives me an edge. I’ve booked hosting jobs in the Dominican Republic and met so many different people because of golf.”

What does Bri Teresi post nowadays?

Recently, Teresi posted a photo of her on the beach in an orange bikini.

She also posted another photo on Twitter after making a return to the golf course, where she gazes at the camera from the passenger seat in a golf buggy while clutching a golf ball.

She also modeled for the latest bikini collection from Colleen Kelly and used Mar-A-Lago as the stage for the stylish designs.

How does Bri Teresi compare to Paige Spiranac?

Bri Teresi rivals former golfer Paige Spiranac when it comes to being the glam girl for golf. After Spiranac left the sport in 2016, she began working as a social media influencer for the game and quickly garnered a lot of fans and followers.

Bri is now being hailed as the 'new Paige Spiranac,' a person who she has appreciated and looked up to as she had explained in the interview with the New York Post.:

"She [Paige] doesn’t look like some dumb bimbo. When you look at her you can see strength and confidence. I wouldn’t mess with her, people wouldn’t mess with her. People have respect for her.
“You can still respect someone even though they’re sexy and she’s clearly a beautiful, sexy woman. There’s a huge difference when you carry yourself in a confident way.”

Spiranac, though, is still leading the charts when it comes to followers, having 3.7 million followers on Instagram.

What does Bri Teresi have to say about the influencing arena in sports?

While Bri admitted that she had her fair share of critics, she also thinks that there is not one specific box that a woman must tick for being linked to a sport.

In the interview with the New York Post, she said:

"Women don’t have to fit in one box. Me as a woman, I model, play sports, I’m highly educated, and I don’t have to be one thing. That’s what I’m trying to show on social media, that you can be whatever you want to be.
“I think as women, we face being sexualized when we don’t want to be, but the way you carry yourself is important too. For example, I carry myself as a strong woman. Yes, I dress sexier, but people usually don’t mess with me or mistreat me because I appear to have a strength to me."
