Bryson DeChambeau is an American golfer who was born on September 16, 1993. He used to play on the PGA Tour, but he currently plays in the LIV Golf League.

DeChambeau became the fifth player in history to win both the NCAA Division I championship and the U.S. Amateur in the same year. He is renowned for approaching the game analytically and has gained the nickname "The Scientist."

His clubs are made specifically for him, with equally proportioned irons and thicker-than-normal grips. He became the PGA Tour driver with the longest service record in 2020 after winning the U.S. Open.

DeChambeau won his first league event at The Greenbrier in August 2023, following his arrival at LIV Golf in 2022. Following a second round score of 61, he shot a 58 in the third and final round to tie the record for the lowest round in a men's professional golf tournament of the highest level and to set a new tour record.

His second LIV tour victory came in September at the 2023 LIV Golf Chicago. His final round 63, which included a 28 on the back nine, won him the match by one stroke, against Anirban Lahiri and Marc Leishman.

Who is Bryson DeChambeau’s caddie?

Bryson DeChambeau's caddie is Gregory Bodine as of July 2024.

Tim Tucker was on the bag for Bryson DeChambeau, who helped him win all eight of his PGA Tour titles. Tim Tucker caddied for Bryson, as we previously discussed, and they were very successful. At the 2016 Memorial Tournament, Tucker began caddying for DeChambeau, a role he held until the middle of 2017.

However, there were rumors circulating prior to the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic that they were splitting up, and Bryson's team verified this.

Brett Falkoff, DeChambeau's agent, verified the information to Golf Channel, stating: "They had a good run, and they mutually agreed yesterday afternoon to go their separate ways.

He reunited with Tucker in early 2018, having previously switched caddies to veteran Micah Fugitt. Tucker is someone DeChambeau has known since he was 15 years old, but more significantly, Tucker can read the vector green-reading system that DeChambeau employs.

As a result, Bryson momentarily put Cobra Golf's tour operations manager, Ben Schomin, on the bag before having Brian Zeigler do the same. Zeigler took up the position following a tenure as a teacher at Bryson's home club, Dallas National Golf Club.

Although not much is known about Zeigler, it appears from his Instagram that he is associated with the supplement manufacturer Hanah Life.

But Bryson later appeared at LIV Tulsa and the 2023 PGA Championship accompanied by Gregory Bodine, a former Tony Finau caddie from 2014 to 2022.
