As of April 2024, Jordan Spieth, a three-time major champion, is rated No. 20 in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR). His career-best ranking of No. 1 was achieved for 26 weeks in August 2015. Including the FedEx Cup in 2015, his major victories are the 2015 Masters, the U.S. Open, and the 2017 Open Championship.

Spieth's score of 270 (-18) was good enough to win the 2015 Masters Tournament. After Tiger Woods, he became the second-youngest golfer to win the Masters, tying the 1997 mark set by Woods over 72 holes.

In September 2021, Spieth represented the United States in the Ryder Cup, where he tied one, lost two, and won one. He defeated Patrick Cantlay in a playoff to win the RBC Heritage on April 17, 2022, his 13th PGA Tour win, coming back from a three-stroke deficit against third-round leader Harold Varner III.

At the 2023 Ryder Cup, the European team won 16.5-11, with Spieth finishing 0-2, including a tie in his Sunday singles match against Shane Lowry.

As of April 2024, he had competed in nine events, missing the cut in three, including the Masters Tournament. He did, however, place in the top ten three times, with his best result in the season-opening event at The Sentry, where he placed third solo with a score of 265 under 27.

Who is Jordan Speith’s caddie?

Jordan Speith’s caddie is Michael Greller as of April 2024.

The two have collaborated since 2011, and Spieth has won three majors during that period. Earlier, Greller was a full-time high school teacher in Seattle who worked as a caddie in his neighborhood to supplement his income. That's when Greller first met Spieth, when the US Junior Amateur came to town and Spieth obviously prevailed when the two were paired together.

Spieth was then the top amateur in the world at the time. He qualified for the 2012 US Open and they reunited the following year. Greller had planned for Spieth's professional career to grow more slowly, so he decided to take a year off from his teaching profession.

But midway through his rookie year, Spieth captured the John Deere Classic, making history as the first teenage winner on the PGA Tour since Ralph Guldahl in 1931.

Spieth had one of the best seasons ever in 2015, winning the US Open and the Masters, a place Greller was very familiar with because he had married his wife Ellie there. He then narrowly missed the cut at St. Andrews and the PGA Championship.

Spieth's amazing run over the final nine of the 2017 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale stands as one of their most memorable victories. Just as the wheels had begun to come off, Greller gave a pep talk to start his final round, and Speith became just the second player after Jack Nicklaus to win three of the four men's golf majors.

The only major left is the PGA Championship, where he finished solo second in 2015, and again tied for third place in 2019, but didn't win.
