Carlota Ciganda posted another bogey-free round at the Open de España to take a four-shot lead in the leaderboard. The Spaniard has one bogey and 18 birdies in the first 54 holes of the event.

After her performance in the third round of the Open de España, Ciganda said (via Movistar Plus):

"I am happy with the result. I wasn't so good off the tee, but the truth is that the second shots were very good. I made good putts, and the truth is that a -6 is very good."

Commenting on the good pace of her compatriots, Ciganda said:

"It's great to see the Spanish women up there (on the leaderboard) and playing well. I know there are a lot of amateurs who are hitting hard, very happy to see them up there."

In fact, a Spanish amateur, Andreaa Revuelta, has been one of the revelations of the Open de España. Revuelta signed the best score of the third round (64), tied with England's Rosie Davies. With the performance, Revuelta tied for second place with Belgium's Manon De Roey.
