The Sentry is underway at the iconic Kapalua Plantation Course and Resort in Maui, Hawaii, this week. Following the completion of the third round, Hideki Matsuyama bears the solo lead.

The 2021 Augusta Masters champion carded a stellar eleven under par 62, a bogey-free round with eleven birdies. Matsuyama maintains his solo lead over two rounds with Collin Morikawa trailing by one stroke.

Morikawa matched his fellow competitor's moves and adjusted to the pressure well by firing up an amazing eleven-under-par 62 round as well. Having made five starts at The Sentry, he is yet to hail the trophy following finishes inside the top seven in his career.
