Lexi Thompson kicked off the new year with an incredible milestone. On January 2, 2025, the LPGA Tour star announced her engagement to Intuitive Surgical's sales representative Max Provost via a wholesome Instagram post.

The 29-year-old was proposed to in Whistler, British Columbia, during a vacation. Thompson's relationship with Provost was kept private throughout their relationship. However, there is very little to know about her fiancee. Following his sighting at the Hero World Challenge last month as her caddie, fans were left curious about the new husband-to-be's life.

Max Provost resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and works as a Clinical Sales Representative at Intuitive Surgical. According to his LinkedIn bio, he works hand-in-hand with physicians and surgeons to help them accomodate to the state of the art DaVinci robotics surgery tool. Having graduated from Florida State University in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Marketing, he helps patients with minimally invasive surgeries.

He first began at Intuitive as a Clinical Territory Associate in 2020 before moving to a Clinial Sales Associate in 2022. However, his career first began at Grain Management as a Research Analyst Intern in 2014 - the year he joined college. Provost then played an intergral role in CA Ventures from 2014 to 2018 as a Marketing Assistant and as a Leasing Agent.

The LPGA Tour legend's fiancee was also a Business Development Executive for Revcontent for eight months in 2018 before joining ADP as an Associate District Manager.

Having attended high school at The Out-of-Door Academy, he was a four-time varsity winner who played football, basketball, baseball, and lacrosse all while also running for the track and field team. Thompson's soon to be husband was also a part of the student admissions leadership team. Provost was born on October 23 and is also fluent in French.

Lexi Thompson took to her Instagram platform to share her incredible start to the 2025 year. She posted two images - one picture captured the moment her fianee Max Provost got down on one knee when he popped the question and the other was the couple holding hands.

Thompson shared a few pictures of the moment on Instagram, with her caption reading:
