Who is playing the 2024 Genesis Championship? Exploring the full field

The Genesis Championship will be played at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea from October 24-27. It will be the final event on the DP World Tour's 2024 regular schedule, and the tour will travel from there to the United Arab Emirates for the final two events of the season.

The Genesis Championship will be Tom Kim's first appearance in his home country in over two years. The 3-time PGA Tour winner had this to say about the topic (via DP World Tour News Service):

"It's going to be really fun. I don't think I've played in front of a home crowd for two and a half years, since I've been on the PGA Tour with the schedule and everything, but I'm really excited. It's going to be a lot of fun and I can't wait for Thursday."

Kim comes in having played 24 tournaments on the PGA Tour, making 18 cuts. He has just two top-10 finishes, one of which was a tie for second at the Travelers Championship, where he lost in a playoff to Scottie Scheffler.

Those results left Tom Kim outside the top 50 in the FedEx Cup standings, which prevented him from qualifying directly for the 2025 Signature Events. As for the Majors, his position in the world rankings favors him for a spot in each of these tournaments.
