The 2024 PGA Tour is halfway through, with Scottie Scheffler dominating the tour by winning four events. He won the Arnold Palmer Invitational, The Players Championship, the Masters, and the RBC Heritage. There are still 11 events remaining before the season-ending FedExCup playoffs begin in August.
This year, we have seen some incredible performances from players of various age groups. Brice Garnett is the oldest golfer to have won an event thus far, while Nicholas Dunlap is the youngest player to have won a trophy this season.
Dunlap, competing in his first-ever PGA Tour season, won the American Express by a stroke. The 20-year-old, who carded a -29 for the event and earned a full membership, is the youngest golfer to win a trophy this season. In the process, he became the first amateur golfer in 33 years to win a PGA Tour event. After the victory, Dunlap competed in 11 events, missing 4 cuts along the way.

On the other end of the spectrum is Brice Garnett, who became the oldest golfer to lift a trophy. The 40-year-old won the Puerto Rico Open in March as he defeated Erik Barnes in the fourth playoff hole. He carded -19 for the event to enforce a playoff with Barnes. This was Garnett's second PGA Tour win. Overall, Garnett has competed in 9 events so far this season, missing 4 cuts with no top-10 finishes apart from the Puerto Rico Open victory.

The 2024 PGA Tour has been an exciting season with plenty of close finishes. There were plenty of surprises and incredible performances from various golfers which kept fans entertained.

Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele have won the two Major Championships of this year. Scheffler won the Masters at Augusta National, while Schauffele registered his first Major win by winning the 2024 PGA Championship.
