Will Zalatoris, the young American Professional golfer, is taking the world by storm. He rose to fame after participating in and winning the 2020 TPC Colorado Championship on the Korn Ferry Championship. Before that, he had already been turning heads and making noise in the golf world, as he was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year back in 2017!

Despite having several wins, Zalatoris' name became a regular in tournaments when he participated and won the 2022 FedEx St. Jude Championship! Ever since, he's been a regular, either winning tournaments or securing runner-up finishes in most of the majors he takes part in.

But before Zalatoris' rise to fame in the golf world, he was playing as a temporary PGA member, with almost no certainty and promise about a permanent PGA Tour membership in future. But that all changed when the rookie stole the hearts of the golf spectators by almost winning the masters in 2021, that too, in his first-ever appearance at Augusta National!

Zalatoris' accomplishments are truly commendable! He started playing when he was a kid; growing up in Dallas, Texas, his father introduced him to the game when he was just nine years old! He kept brushing up his skills by taking part in school and university golf championships. He went to the Trinity Christian Academy in Texas, where he led his school to success in the TAPPS State Championship twice back in 2011 and 2013.

He later went on to win the individual state championship as well in 2012 and 2013. After graduating from his high school, Trinity Christian, in 2014, Zalatoris started pursuing his bachelor's in Wake Forest University to play golf. As a freshman, he won more trophies than he could possibly carry in his hands! Zalatoris won the ACC Player of the Year, and he was later named the All-ACC, Hogan Award Semifinalist, First GCAA All-American, First-Team Golfweek All-American Nicklaus Award finalist.

Will Zalatoris Height

Will is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 75 kilograms. Zalatoris has always been very athletic, and his height and weight have certainly been a great advantage point for his success at the same time! Besides being a fantastic player, his height helps him to take better shots and swings. Because the taller the player is, the longer their arms are! And the longer the arms, the larger the arc his/her clubhead will travel, which in turn means higher clubhead speed, and the ball will go further!

William Zalatoris was born on 16th August 1996, in San Francisco, California, to Richard Zalatoris and Catherine Zalatoris.
