Wyndham Clark, the winner of the US Open in 2023, was born on December 9, 1993. He went to Valor Christian High School in Colorado, followed by Oklahoma State University in 2012; however, in 2016, he transferred to the University of Oregon, ultimately graduating in 2017 with a business degree. Between the former and latter, he won three amateur titles, including the 2017 Pac-12 Championship, and turned professional later that season.

Clark earned his PGA Tour card in 2019 and nearly won the 2020 Bermuda Championship but lost to Brian Gay in the playoffs. Eventually, he won his first pro win at the 2023 Wells Fargo Championship, followed by the U.S. Open in the same season. His most recent and overall third pro win was at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, against Ludvig Aberg, by a stroke. His Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) is No. 11 as of April 2025.
