The Zurich Classic of New Orleans, a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour, is currently held at TPC Louisiana, a golf course in Avondale, a suburb southwest of New Orleans. The Zurich Classic was changed to an eighty-partner team competition in 2017. Each team's opening player is selected based on the Tour priority rankings, and that player's partner must be a member of the PGA Tour or qualify for entrance through sponsor exemption. In the first and third rounds of the stroke play format, players alternated strokes (foursome) and played better ball (fourball) in the second and fourth rounds.
The cut line consists of 33 teams plus ties. In addition to 400 FedEx Cup points and a two-year exemption, the winners do not receive invites to the Masters or world ranking points for the event. In 2018, the format was changed to feature alternate shots for the second and fourth rounds and four balls for the first and third.
