Hello and Welcome to Sportskeeda's live coverage of the ECS England T10 series 2024! Taking you through this contest will be the commentary pair of Soumarya Dutta and Arya Sekhar Chakraborty!
It's time for the first game of day two in ECS England 2024 and it will be the ECL champions Hornchurch taking on Twickenham who are coming into this game on the back of their 10 wicket victory against the Tunbridge Wells in their previous encounter. Hornchurch are playing their first game on the other hand and they will be looking to stamp their authority and prove their might.
George Hankins, the Hornchurch skipper will be their most important batter to watch out for with the bat. Richard Burd along with George Clark will form the core of the batting. The likes of Hogarth and the Whitlocks on the other hand will take care of the bowling. Twickenham have the likes of Fourie and Berger at the top of the order while the captain Don Manuwelge will take care of the middle order. Mather, Hunt and Hopkins will be their men to trust with the ball.
Overall, it promises to be a great game of cricket to open the proceedings in the series. Will the Hornchurch begin with a victory or will the Twickenham side upstage them and clinch a surprise victory in their first game. Stay tuned to this space for more updates regarding the toss and the teams.
