It's the same venue, the pitch is also the same. The dimensions from the last game is also same. Down the ground is the longest which is 69m. Commentary

That brings us to the end of our coverage for this series. The caravan will now move to Vadodara, Gujarat for the three-match ODI series scheduled to commence on December 22nd. After a dominating display tonight, India would be buoyant going into it. But don't count the West Indies out. Remember the thrashing they dished out in the second T20I? Smriti Mandhana is the "Player of the Series", here is what she had to say: "I think in the last match, I saw it on the big screen that in the last 5 years we hadn't won a series at home. That is not reflective of what we are as a side. So we had a long conversation about it. With few youngsters coming into the side, there was some added responsibility. I think that makes me put my head into it and bat a bit better. We lost all three tosses. Batting first can be harder here given the dew. So, I think we have done well. Harmanpreet Kaur has been the pillar in the middle order. She was missing in the last two matches. But the girls stepped out. Raghvi was impressive and the way Richa took the responsibility towards the end was heartening to see."

Richa Ghosh is the "Player of the Match", here is what she had to say: "We got a good start. The way Smriti played and the way Raghvi played was impressive. I tried to carry on the momentum. I got the balls in the slot and I smashed them. It doesn't matter if it is the first ball or the last ball, if it is in the slot, I'll go after it. Happy to contribute."

Hayley Matthews [West Indies captain]: "We probably didn't bowl as well as we wanted to, it's also one of those wickets, you can't too much wrong it, small margins for error. Credit to India, Smriti played a brilliant knock, the way Richa came in and finished was brilliant. We did want to come up with high energy, we discussed about it before the game. They got themselves going, but got ourselves back later on. Just with the ball, being tighter and being as well disciplined is what was needed. With the bat, we probably did well, we did get good totals, batting to the conditions as well. We can take a lot of positives from the series. Deandra, Joseph batted well!"

Saima Thakor [India]: "This is a good bunch to play alongside, the vibe is very good. Execution has been really good , I'm really happy. We had that belief, we had the confidence that we will defend this target, didn't really think about the dew at all. I've been practicing a lot of that back of the hand balls, it was much needed on this track and it helped me tonight. It was comparatively less today, that helped us."

India Women win a T20I series after 5 years and they have done it in some style. After what transpired a couple of nights ago, they knew that they will need to put up some extra runs on the board. The conditions were dewy and the wicket was a batter's friend. But you still need to go out there and make the runs. India got them with some panache.

The skipper set the tone. Mandhana didn't take long to unfurl those exquisite off side shots that she is renowned all over the world for. The ball seemed to be flying off the middle of her bat. It is hard to recall her missing out on a loosener post the first couple of overs, where Henry asked her a few questions. Perhaps, Matthews missed a trick by not giving her best bowler of the night another spell and the hosts made the most of it. Richa Ghosh, in particular, did. On her way to the joint fastest fifty in WT20Is, she exhibited some of the cleanest ball-striking we have seen in the women's game for a while. So much so, that the handy contributions of Jemimah Rodrigues and Raghvi Bist almost fell into oblivion. India registered their highest ever score in WT20Is as well.

West Indies had a mountain to scale. They came out swinging for the heavens, but did not connect as often as they would have liked. While, Dottin, Matthews and Campbelle got considerable starts, none of them could go on to convert it into a big score. Once again, Chinelle Henry stood out. She almost outdid Ghosh with a blistering 16-ball-43. Once, she was dismissed, there wasn't much left in the tank. The visitors did manage to play out the 20 overs, but that is a mere consolation. Radha Yadav starred with ball as she picked up a four-for, courtesy of some audacious and guileful bowling against the wielding willows. And as always, she was electric in the field and even added the important catch of Dottin to her name.
