Hello and Welcome to Sportskeeda's coverage for Match No 47 of the ECS Portugal which will be a rematch of the first match of the day. It will be the Malo Qalandars who will square off against Oeiras and the Qalandars will be hoping to make a comeback after recieving a thrash at the hands of the same opposition just a few hours ago. It will be the pair of Arya Sekhar Chakraborty and Soumarya Dutta who will take us through everything that transpires during the course of the encounter. Toss update and team sheets coming up in a while.
It has been the start of Group B and Oeiras are at the top of the ladder with two wins in as many games. They have absolutely dominated the opposition in both games as they managed to chase down the target of 93 inside the 4th over in their previous game. Daniel Doyle-Calle and Brendan Badenhorst smashed the bowlers to all corners of the park before their bowlers did a splendid job in restricting the opposition to just 92.
Rahul Vishwakarma and Miguel Stoman were the pick of the bowlers with a couple each and barring Diego Mendonca, all the other five bowlers were very economical. The Malo Qalandars started their campaign with a resounding win but were pegged back by the heavy defeat. The batting unit which looked in ominous touch during the opening game failed to fire and it was always going to be a tough ask to defend 92. However the bowlers wouldn't have expected to concede the runs inside the 4th over.
