Nicosia Fighters won by 22 runs
Everest started off in a bright fashion but couldn't keep up the momentum. Bam was blasting the bowlers all around the park and his presence was really threatening for the Fighters but Saurav Ahmed removed him. Once Monirul dismissed Shahi, Everest couldn't recover from the setback and struggled to find boundaries at regular intervals.
Usman and Monirul dictated terms once the field got spread and didn't allow the opposition to get on the front foot at any stage of the game. As the game went on, the situation remained the same - The Everest batters hardly found any answers against the clinical bowling performance of the Fighters, and eventually succumbed to defeat

9.6 Anowar Hossain to Bikash Khatri, swipes across and makes no connection. That's it! Nicosia Fighters CC have defended their score successfully.
9.5 Anowar Hossain to Bikash Khatri, MISCUED! It flies off the outside edge. The man at short third jumps up and gets a hand on to it. Cannot hold on. They don't run.
9.4 Anowar Hossain to Bikash Khatri, FOUR! Cross batted swat. The ball scampers away to the square leg boundary. A little too late though?
Bikash Khatri, RHB, walks in at no.6
9.3 Anowar Hossain to Jeevan Lamsal, OUT! He had to heave it. But did not make the connection he would have wanted. It goes up in the air and is caught at point on the edge of the inner ring.
9.2 Anowar Hossain to Jeevan Lamsal, Length ball. The batter pulls it to wide long on along the carpet. They don't run.
9.1 Anowar Hossain to Jeevan Lamsal, FOUR! Full ball. Inside out the batter goes. Gets a boundary to cover point.
Everest need 31 runs to win in the final over

Saurav Ahmed
1/24
8.6 Saurav Ahmed to Kishor Basnet, hit down to long off. Guess what? They don't run.
8.5 Saurav Ahmed to Kishor Basnet, slower ball. The batter was through the shot before the ball arrived.
8.4 Saurav Ahmed to Kishor Basnet, tries to drag it from outside off to the leg side. But can only hit it back into his boot.
8.3 Saurav Ahmed to Kishor Basnet, STREAKY FOUR! Wild heave gets him an inside edge. The ball trickles down to fine leg.
8.2 Saurav Ahmed to Kishor Basnet, OH DEAR! Again a full ball. Kishor swings wildly again. The ball takes a bit of the bat and meanders to long on who misfields it and it is four.
8.1 Saurav Ahmed to Kishor Basnet, YORKER! The batter swings wildly like he has all through the innings. No connection yet again.
Saurav Ahmed comes back into the attack
The bowlers continue to produce the goods and make things really hard for the opposition to find the boundaries. As I type this, Lamsal found one but they need a lot more in the penultimate over to stay alive in the run chase
