Paris Université Club beat Royal 94 by 47 runs but the latter salvaged a point!

This was a game all about some excellent fight from Royal 94. Not many gave them a chance to win against the mighty PUC and the result was a long-gone conclusion when the latter crossed 150 with ease in the first innings, despite a brilliant four-wicket haul from Uthayakumar.

But R94 didn't drop shoulders and their batters came out all guns blazing. Even as PUC constantly chipped away with the wickets and maintained professional discipline in the field, the R94 batters kept the intent high. That took them inches away from at least salvaging a point from the game.

They almost faltered in the last over with two wickets, and a couple more chances all coming together in the last over. But all the hard work in the previous over meant that that man again, Uthayakumar, had just enough in his tank of will to take them over that line with a last-ball boundary!
