Amanjot Kaur (POTM - 34* and 3/22) - Very happy. It feels pretty good. I knew they had to give Kanika one over. I have more options against off spinner. I have discussed the plans with Harmanpreet, Amelia, and Nat. I knew I had to rotate stike and settle in Kamilini as well and make the most of the 19th over. (On her bowling) I just stuck to my lines and keep varying. Not give the batters enough chances. God's plan is always greater than ours.
Harmanpreet Kaur (MI-W Captain) - Yeah, relieved. Well we just wanted to play good crucket. We knew crowd is going to play a big role and we stuck together and played well. We wanted to chase because of the dew and knew the wicket would play well later. They all know their roles well. We discussed it beforehand about the matchups and who will come to bowl when. We knew someone inexperienced will bowl the 19th over and credits to Amanjot for the way she bowled and batted.
Charlotte Edwards (head coach, Mumbai Indians): Happy, very delighted to get over the line against a very good RCB unit at their home venue. Success in this tournament is how the Indian players play and the way Amanjot and Harmanpreet played was very special. We talked about that game (vs Delhi Capitals) and were disappointed. We played against Gujarat and it was about getting the order right. Kamalini is going to be a star, she is a cheeky little thing. Smriti Mandhana (captain, Royal Challengers Bengaluru): Can't say one turning point, but the girls fought well. Pez played well and we have two days to think. The first time we batted first in the tournament, we chased in our first two games and it will be important to think how we do in the next game. The ball was coming on well, the Vadodara outfield was a bit quicker than Bengaluru. Both started well in the powerplay and we knew once Hayley got out we had a chance. We had a good period of 7-8 overs and once we got 2-3 wickets we knew we were in the game.

16-year-old G Kamalini seals the deal in style with a boundary for MI-W! Absolute scenes in Bengaluru! Though the home crowd couldn't see RCB-W win, they've surely witnessed a thriller for the ages. One of the best WPL matches yet!
Mumbai Indians Women held their nerve to hand RCB-W their first defeat of the season right in front of their passionate home crowd in Bengaluru.
Chasing 168, MI-W got off to a mixed start as Yastika Bhatia departed early. But then came Natalie Sciver-Brunt, the ever-reliable all-rounder, who wasted no time in taking charge. She hammered a blistering 42 off just 21 balls, making full use of the powerplay. Hayley Matthews played a supporting role, but her stay ended at the cusp of the powerplay, leaving MI at a strong 66/2 after six overs.
Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur walked in with confidence, but she soon saw Sciver depart, followed by Amelia Kerr, leaving MI-W in a tricky spot at 82/4. The game was evenly poised, but Amanjot Kaur, who had earlier shone with the ball, joined Harmanpreet and built a crucial 62-run partnership. While Amanjot played the anchor role, Harman took charge, bringing up her well-deserved half-century just as MI-W entered the final three overs needing 25 runs.
Just when it looked like MI-W had the chase under control, the game flipped once again. Georgia Wareham produced a stunning over, striking twice in two balls to remove Harmanpreet and Sajana, throwing the match wide open with 22 needed off 12 balls.
With no frontline bowlers left, Smriti Mandhana turned to Kanika Ahuja for the penultimate over - a decision that backfired. Amanjot seized the moment, taking her for 16 runs, putting MI-W within touching distance of victory. With just six needed off the final over, they made it look easy. Fittingly, 16-year-old G Kamalini held her nerve and finished the game in style with a boundary when two were needed off two.
Earlier in the first innings, RCB-W posted a competitive 167/6, riding on a well-crafted 81 from Ellyse Perry. Amanjot Kaur was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 3/22 and restricting RCB-W when they were looking set for 180+. However, in the end, it was MI-W who held their nerves in a high-pressure chase to come out on top.
