That brings us to the end of our coverage for this match. It was the pair of Darpan and Bidipto taking you through the action. Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for more sporting action.
It is a comfortable victory for Transylvania. They won the toss, batted first and made the most of the rustiness of the Baneasa bowlers, who were clearly far from their best. Though, given Baneasa's past performances, the target was by no mean unachievable. However, they decided to change their batting order to give the the lower middle order players some time in the middle.
The experiment failed. Ijaz Hussain batted through the innings but could not keep up with rate. Shakoor and Abdul did unfurl some big shots, but it did not prove to be enough. Overall, it is an underwhelming performance from Baneasa. Having said that, it would be wrong to take the due credit away from Transylvania players, who put in effective performances with both bat and ball.
This victory helps them climb the chart and reach the second position on the points table.

9.6 Mahesh Hingorani to Zeeshan Muhammad, TRANSYLVANIA WIN! BANEASA CRICKET CLUB TAKE THE BONUS POINT. Full around leg-stump. A heave across the line from the crease but a miss. The ball misses leg-stump and goes into the gloves of the keeper for no run.
Zeeshan Muhammad, RHB, will face the last ball.
Prasanna was never convinced of that run. He jogged down casually and was always going to be short of his ground.
9.5 Mahesh Hingorani to Ijaz Hussain, RUN OUT! Full on leg-stump. A swing and a miss from the crease but the attempted leg-bye ends up in Prasanna falling short of his crease thanks to the direct hit by the keeper! Mahesh Prasanna run out (Sharat Kishore) 3 (5b, 0x4, 0x6)
9.4 Mahesh Hingorani to Ijaz Hussain, good length ball outside off-stump. Left alone on line off the back foot but it stayed just inside the tramline.
9.3 Mahesh Hingorani to Ijaz Hussain, AH! Good length ball on off-stump. Knocked to the mid-off fielder on the charge for a quick single and then, they take a second run as the fielders took it slightly easy.
9.2 Mahesh Hingorani to Ijaz Hussain, SIX! Good length ball on leg-stump with pace taken off. Swung away well over deep mid-wicket on the charge for a maximum!
9.1 Mahesh Hingorani to Mahesh Prasanna, full on leg-stump. Heaved to the right of square-leg from deep in the crease for a single.
Baneasa have still not got a point of this game. They need 3 more runs to ensure that Transylvania don't go away with all 4 points. To win, they need an impossible looking 44.

While, Shakoor did unfurl the big shots in that over, Baneasa still have left too much for the final two overs. They need 53 runs to win and 12 to get at least a point.
