West Indies captain Shai Hope is up for a chat: The main thing for an elite team is to perform consistently and to tick the boxes off field and to transfer it into performance on the field. Players scoring runs and hundreds is a big plus for us. It is a great confidence booster especially for the batting unit and going forward we will have a lot more runs to come. In some situations, you just got to understand that things happen and it's just great to see that the boys who have called the plan, raise their hands and do their job. It shows that we always fight when we have a challenge and the importance of doing things at the right times. Just great to see that the guys are gaining confidence, especially from the batting group. We just see to take the learnings from the bowling side as well and try to grow as a group.
Matthew Forde has been adjudged player of the series: I am happy that I could collect the player of the series. We have Bangladesh coming up, will give my best to get player of the series in that one as well. The wicket was slow today. We tried to adapt and assess very quickly. For me it was just about keeping it on good length as the wicket was assisting a bit. This group is a brotherhood and we all love one another and get along really well, whether we play or don't play, we are off the field, on the field. The information always comes from Seales, Alzarri and they always have an opinion and we respect it. I have my family here--my mom, my dad, my sister, my brother, so I am really happy to get this series win. Getting player of the series is a plus for me and it will be back again for the next series.
England captain Liam Livingstone is up for a chat: After the collapse at the start, the boys in the middle formed a decent partnership and we ended really well. The boys fought really hard towards the end of the first innings. We have had a lot of good parts to the series. For the players who had their first trip, they would have learned a lot of lessons along with the experience of playing international cricket which would be golden for a few of them. It's a massive honour to lead the country. A little bit disappointed with the way the series has ended.
Brandon King is the Player of the Match: I didn't get a good start, fortunate that it came in a crucial game like this. I mean once you put the work in, you have to keep believing in your abilities. Fantastic innings my Keacy, he batted better than me for the majority of the innings and helped me pace my innings. I was trying to get around the corner, the momentum was taking me over but fortunately Alzarri was there. Most important knock of my career.

Following an aggressive start in the powerplay from the two openers—Evin Lewis and Brandon King—the West Indies set the tone for the chase. However, Lewis departed in the powerplay off Jamie Overton’s short ball outside off stump, adding 42 runs with his partner.
After this, Brandon King and Keacy Carty patiently rotated strikes and played shots down the ground to form a partnership. They refrained from taking any risks and respected bowlers on the good balls. Their performance made them look like an experienced pair as they exuded maturity, playing skillfully. Both batters had clarity of shot selection and were tough to be dismissed on ordinary deliveries from English bowlers.
They together stitched a partnership of 209 runs—the second highest for the West Indies in the format. While Brandon King had a classic outing and played some phenomenal shots, of which some were music to the ears, his partner Keacy Carty selectively smacked bad deliveries for sixes. In doing so, both of them scored centuries—King scoring 50+ after 13 innings and Karty scoring his maiden ODI century.
Meanwhile, bowling from England was typical, lacking the incisiveness to threaten the batters. On the pitch where batters were struggling against short deliveries, they bowled only a few of them until the halfway mark of the innings. It included the delivery on which Evin Lewis lost his wicket. Later on, Barbados-origin English bowler Jofra Archer threatened with that length, but by that time the two West Indian players—King and Carty—sailed the ship significantly. Even the spinners—Adil Rashid and Liam Livingstone—faltered to be effective with fuller balls, as they could have made the most of long boundaries in baiting batters to hit big towards cover or mid-wicket.
Reece Topley did snatch second wicket for England but by that time West Indies required just 13 runs and it was just a matter of few more balls before they reached the target.
