A fantastic win for India, who seal the second spot and have done a remarkable job with their performance against the defending champions. Three wins out of four games thus far for India, who are looking impressive and have not let that lost to Australia get the better of them.

They've learnt from their mistakes, improving on their tactics and are putting them to good use out on the pitch. We saw a glimpse of that today as India controlled the game for most of the time and were brutal with their approach.

They kicks off the first quarter with sheer dominance, as they enjoyed most of the possession, kept the ball, and distributed it quite nicely. They only failed to get their final act right, as they were just short of scoring on a couple of chances.

The second quarter too, was pretty similar, but with more chances. Almost every minute they were penetrating the opposition's circle and giving them a scare, but the grit defence of Argentine kept them out yet again.

It was in quarter three, where the shackles were broken and India pushed ahead through a penalty corner. With a small bluff, India scored the first goal, late in the quarter to take the lead, but just one goal was not going to be enough.

At the start of the fourth quarter India, yet again as was the flow of the entire game, started with attack, but Argentina broke free and won a penalty corner which they made use of inch perfectly. Argentina showed some maturity in their game and were just coming in their groove when India struck back.

India never took their foot off the pedal, and just in the closing minutes when Argentina would have started thinking of a draw, India struck, not once but twice. Two late goals in the last couple of minutes ensured India a 3-1 win.

Our men in blue are showing some fantastic character and have adapted to learn from their mistakes and improve. They are looking in a really good place and have brought that positivity out on the pitch. They will surely go through to the knockouts, but there a much bigger challenge awaits them.
