GALLUS defeats Pete Dunne, Wes Lee, and Tyler Bate by pin.
WENDY CHOO defeats Brinley Reece by submission.
LEXIS KING defeats Dante Chen by pin.
EDDY THORPE defeats Tavion Heights by pin.
SHAWN SPEARS defeats Je'Von Evans by pin.

Jacy says that before Roxy signed her contract, she was one of the main attractions in NXT. Roxy laughs when Jacy and Jazmyn think they're the top challengers. Lash and Jakara come out with Lash calling Jazmyn a "Kim K" wannabe.

If it wasn't loud enough, Lola Vice comes out next. She says she's the only one on the same level as Perez before Jakara tells her to shake her 'happy' butt to the back of the line. Roxy and Lola send everyone from the ring before Lola stares at the title while Roxy holds onto it like Gollum.

Roxy comes out and says that no one in the division is on her level. The arena is strangely dark, setting up for a perfect blindside opportunity. Perez calls Ava to the ring. Ava says she knew this would happen before congratulating Perez on Sunday for her win. Ava says many words before Perez calls her out for making it about her. She adds that no one can take the title away from her, but Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx come out. Roxy points to her nose to mock Jacy's injury.

Before Roxanne Perez updates the state of the women's division, Cody Rhodes runs into Shawn Spears backstage. He says Cody won the Rumble and his title, and he'll do the same next week in the battle royal. Ethan Page and Lexis King come up next, and Rhodes leaves after saying that they all seem like they're in a good place (HAHAHAHA).

Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne are reviewing match footage against The O.C. with Axiom and Nathan Frazer. Frazer is still upset for some reason. Tony D and the Family come in and try to 'teach the group' about the 'heritage of the cup.'

Pete Dunne asks him why he's trying to talk to them about British Wrestling, but The Family leaves with Frazer playing Noam Dar with the Heritage Cup again.

Evans goes for a move off the ropes, but Spears moves to the other end of the ring. He hits a kick on the kid before delivering a draping DDT for a two-count. Spears goes for a C4, but Evans counters and hits a Cutter off the top buckle. He adds a Suicide Dive, but Spears runs away. Evans hits a somersault off the barricade before sending Spears back into the ring.

He kicks Spears down in front of the announce table, but Spears moves when Evans goes for a moonsault, causing Evans to hit the corner of the announce table. Spears tosses Evans back into the ring and hits the C4 (Death Valley Driver) for the win.

Result - Shawn Spears defeats Je'Von Evans by pin.

He adds another loud chop, which wakes Evans up. Evans hits a kick that drops Spears on the outside. He adds a Soccer Kick as NXT heads to a commercial break.

Evans lands a Hurricanrana and some chops to the chest of Spears in the corner. Spears responds by dumping Evans neck first on the ropes. He then drops Evans with a loud chop to the chest.

Spears is wearing hot pink attire. He tosses his hood at Evans to distract him as the bell rings. Spears hits a Thesz Press to slow things down.

Up next is Je'Von Evans taking on Shawn "Don't Call Me Britney" Spears.

Ava and Stone discuss what Perez might be talking about in her address tonight. Stevie Turner comes in and says she 'overheard' Perez claiming she would call Ava tonight for an apology. What was Jaida Parker saying about snitches??? Ava gets an important phone call, and Turner and Stone leave.

The No Quarter Catch Crew is backstage watching the Heights/Thorpe match. Charlie Dempsey likes what he sees in Tavion Heights and tells Myles Borne to go get Heights. Dempsey says they could use a new member, but Damon doesn't think they need one. Dempsey reminds Kemp that he lost two straight falls to Tony D in the Heritage Cup match last week.

Thorpe battles back with a series of moves highlighted by a Germa Suplex. He hits an elbow and an Impaler DDT for the win.

Result - Eddy Thorpe defeats Tavion Heights by pin.

The ref tells Heights to break a hold, to his chagrin. Thorpe hits a Crossbody before hitting the ropes like five times. Heights tosses him after all that running. Thorpe is trapped in the corner by Tavion. He tosses him off his shoulders before landing a deadlift gut-wrench suplex for two. Heights hits a Gator Roll before locking in a loose Dragon Sleeper.

Michin comes out of Ava's office to reveal that she'll have another match with Jaida Parker in the future, with weapons involved. She will also be Kelani Jordan's first challenger.

In the ring is Tavion Heights, but someone grabs Vic Joseph at the announce table before the match. Heights will face Eddy Thorpe.

Jazmyn Nyx and Jacy Jayne come out of Ava's office. Cody Rhodes walks over and hands her his mask from his "Dashing" Cody Rhodes days. They are in awe and smile.

King gets hit in the chest twice before Chen kicks him in the face. Chen clotheslines King out of the ring, and he hits a Suicide Dive with a cane. Dante brandishes another cane and hits King with it a few times before King hits him in the crotch with one. He grabs his cane and hits Chen with it a few times. King wraps it around Chen's throat before hitting the Coronation for the win.

Result - Lexis King defeats Dante Chen by pin.

Chen retaliates, but King easily gets control of Chen with another cane strike. King chokes Chen with the cane, but Chen reverses it and does the same. Lexis blasts Dante in the back of the head with a knee strike for two. He then sets a cane up in the corner and hits a Superkick. King runs into the cane after a reverse. Chen picks up a cane and blasts King with it all over his body.

Lexis King comes out first, but Dante Chen attacks him from behind with his cane. The two trade strikes in the middle of the ring until King tosses his cane at Chen's head. King sets up a pile of canes. He chops Chen's chest and hits a backbody drop. King blasts Chen in the back with a cane before dumping him atop the pile of canes for a two-count.

Before the next match, Carlee Bright and some other ladies discuss Kelani Jordan's win. Wendy Choo is behind the group, and Bright tries to introduce herself, but Choo poses weirdly before walking off. The 2024 NIL Class is in the front row before the Singapore Cane match starts.

Cody with some wise words for Trick Williams.

Trick stops Cody from leaving before asking him if he's coming to the NXT Cookout around the Fourth of July. The crowd chants the "Yes" before Cody agrees to attend the cookout.

He asks Cody's advice on going from the hunter to the hunted. Cody says everyone in the back is looking to replace them rather than wishing them well. He adds that there are always other mountains to climb. Cody says Ava granted him the time to announce that Trick's next challenger will come from a 25-man battle royal on next week's show. Some of the competitors, however, may come from other locker rooms.

Trick Williams then comes out in an interesting outfit. He says he held up from coming out so Cody could come out and do his thing. Trick adds that he thinks they've had similar journeys, chips on their shoulders, and mountains to climb. On the other side of the mountain, though, things feel different.

Cody addresses AJ Styles' history of title wins in his career before reiterating that Styles will say "I Quit" this Saturday at Clash at the Castle.

While they showed Trick Williams heading to the ring, Cody Rhodes is the champion who comes out next!!!

Byron Saxton is in the parking lot waiting for Roxanne Perez, who is 'fashionably late' until she walks over a second later. She will give a "State of the Division" address but is interrupted by Mr. Stone because Ava wants to know what she will say. She tells him that since she had to wait to find out who her Battleground opponent was by surprise, Ava could find out the same way.

After the return of Choo, we get post-show footage from last week where Oro Mensah attacked Ethan Page twice, including as Page arrived at Battleground and after the main event. Ava says that since Oro attacked Page three times, he has been banned from the building tonight. What about the parking lot? A lot of stuff happens out there...

Choo rushes Reece and hits a Thesz Press off the bat. She hits the Nap Drop quickly, but Reece retreats to the ropes near Edris and Malik. Choo pulls her up, but Reece decks her. Choo hits a short Flatliner for a near fall. Brinley hits a knee to Choo's face before landing some offense. She whiffs on the handstand clothesline before Choo drops her. She locks in a Million Dollar Dream with her legs grapevined for the win.

Result - Wendy Choo defeats Brinley Reece by submission.

Choo comes out with a new theme, some face paint, and a dead look in her eyes.

Before Reece vs. Choo, we get a 'Day of' segment from Sol Ruca where see reveals she made her own gear for the event and felt blessed to compete after a huge injury.

Brinley Reece gets ready for her match with Wendy Choo but Edris and Malik are worried about Edris's run of bad luck. Brinley isn't worried because Wendy is a lovely lady.

In the back, Parker is whining that she didn't beat Michin tonight. OTM is with her and says something I can't understand because they talk too fast. I think she wants to send Michin from NXT, but regardless, she should be mad that her boys didn't back her up about whether she wanted them to.

Joe Coffey had Bate trapped in a rest hold throughout the commercial break. Gallus tries to keep Bate away from his corner with a tandem move, but he turns the tides with a reverse springboard Lariat. Joe Coffey knocks Dunne off the apron with a headbutt, but Lee is eventually tagged in. Lee hits a Hurricanrana on Mark and a Tornado DDT on Wolfgang. He hits another Hurricanrana on Joe for a near fall.

Dunne comes in to twist Mark's digits again. Bate hits a Tope to the outside, while Lee hits a Meteora on Joe Coffey for a close call. Lee goes to the top but jumps to the outside on top of the other competitors. He goes for a move off the top, but Coffey ducks and hits a loud Lariat for the win.

Result - Gallus defeats Wes Lee, Pete Dunne, and Tyler Bate by pin.

Class is in session at Chase University with Professor Thea Hail!

Bate starts against Wolfie and then Mark Coffey. He spins Mark with his feet before Dunne tags in. Dunne knees Mark's arm before twisting his fingers in positions they shouldn't go. He next goes for Mark's ears and then nose. Joe tries to get one over on Dunne, but Dunne sends him one from the ring. Lee and Dunne hit simultaneous Superkicks on Mark, setting Bate's Aeroplane Spin in motion.

Up next is Gallus vs. Wes Lee, Tyler Bate, and Pete Dunne.

Back in the Chase University classroom, Duke, Riley, Ridge, and Mr. Chase are still arguing about things. Thea Hail comes in and tells everyone to 'shut the f**k up and sit down' before putting everyone in their place. She brings up how Riley was an outsider at first and how Mr. Chase gambled the University away.

Guess we're going to get a six-person match soon with OTM vs. The O.C.

Booker T is unhappy that Parker wasn't able to cheat because Anderson grabbed the chair.

Parker rolls out of the ring to yell at The O.C. but then grabs a chair. Gallows distracts the ref as Jaida tries to bash Michin with the chair. Anderson grabs it, and Michin rolls her up for the upset.
Result - Michin defeats Jaida Parker by pin.
