WWE NXT Live Results (June 4th, 2024): Free Agent finally signs; immediately gets title match for Battleground

FULL RESULTS FOR WWE NXT FOR JUNE 4TH, 2024.
JORDYNNE GRACE defeats Stevie Turner by pin.
JAZMYN NYX defeats Thea Hail by pin.
TONY D'ANGELO defeats Damon Kemp, 2 Rounds to 0 Rounds.
NATALYA defeats Izzi Dame by pin.
SOL RUCA, JAIDA PARKER, and MICHIN defeat Kelani Jordan, Lash Legend, and Fallon Henley by pin.

Ava signs the deal after some persuasion from Williams, and Page and Trick stare at each other down to end things.

Page says Trick has every right to be angry after the last time they met. He adds that they share many similarities, like being overshadowed in their careers. The difference is that he (Page) couldn't break out of the shadow. The attack was Page making an opportunity for himself. He then signs the deal, but Ava hesitates to put her signature on it because the agreement gives Page a title shot at Battleground against Trick.

Page says that the Draft left a huge void in NXT's roster. As he says he's been spitting facts, Trick comes out. Page tosses the table out of the ring. He says he only showed up to handle business and not to get physical. Trick wants Ava to give him what he wants so he can beat him up. He adds that he's going to take Page out.

Ava has a contract ready in the ring for Ethan Page. She calls him out to the ring, and he obliges. Page battles with the fans, especially as they chant, "We Want Trick." He doesn't think the rest of the locker room will like the perks in his new contract, but he doesn't care. Ava doesn't want to sign him to these demands.

Another vignette for Eddy Thorpe airs. He's fully healthy and wants to inspire the next generation of Native Americans.

Ava walks out with the contract for Ethan Page. Stevie Turner walks over to ask for a fair match next week.

Michin puts Jordan in a Bow and Arrow submission. Jaida steals another tag from Sol. The crowd chants 'We Want Sol' while Parker has Jordan in an Abdominal Stretch. Jazmyn Nyx comes out with Jacy Jayne in a mask. Sol and Fallon tag in, and Henley hits a Facebuster. Sol and Fallon hit a simultaneous clothesline. Michin hits Jaida, and she falls into the ring—the two fight while Fallon and Lash neutralize Sol. Kelani hits a move on Fallon while Lash hits a big boot on Jordan to send her out of the ring. Sol hits the Sol Snatcher on Legend to pick up the win for her team.

Result - Sol Ruca, Michin, and Jaida Parker defeat Kelani Jordan, Lash Legend, and Fallon Henley by pin.

Kelani and Jaida tag in. Kelani lands some offense on Parker. She hits an Angle Slam before going for a move off the top. Parker catches her and hits her sit-down move. She lands a reverse DDT throw for a near fall. Parker tags Michin in again, and she hits a Pounce on Jordan for two.

Kelani and Sol start things off, but Lash and Jaida tag themselves in. Jaida tags Michin in. Legend and Parker are still mouthing off as Michin hits headscissors on Legend. With the ref's back turned, Fallon Henley knees Michin in the back. Fallon tags in as the show heads to commercials.

We see the sleeping person waking up and putting on slippers. She goes to wash her face but when we see the face in the mirror, it's Wendy Choo with her Tian Sha makeup. We then pivot to Lexis King making excuses for his losses to Dante Chen. Chen then attacks him from behind, and the two have to be pulled apart.

Oba Femi comes out next. He says that Mark and Wolfgang can try to aid Brother Joe, but the outcome will remain the same. Wes Lee then pops up in the crowd to say he'll do what he must to get his title back. Gallus attacks Femi, but Lee tries to make the save. Mark and Woflie work on Oba and set him up so Joe can clothesline him.

Gallus blindsides Tyriek and Tyson during the break, so there's no match. They're upset because they don't get the same treatment as others. They don't need social media credibility to be successful. They aren't here for online clout, likes, or clicks but to be professional wrestlers. The 'next generation of Superstars is ruining things' in wrestling.

Frazer and Axiom are leaving the building after the earlier attack. They vow that they will kick The O.C.'s b*tts at Battleground. The next match pits Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont against a mystery team.

Nattie hits a sit-out powerbomb for two. She goes for the Sharpshooter again but Dame counters into a pin attempt. The two trade a few more pin counters until Nattie gets the three.
Result - Natalya defeats Izzi Dame by pin.

Dame hoists Nattie to her shoulders and puts her in a backbreaker variant. She then locks her in an Abdominal Stretch. Izzi goes for a powerbomb, but Nattie counters out and hits a spinning clothesline for two. Nattie goes for the Sharpshooter but counters with an armbar. Dame picks her up and slams her into the corner.

Up next is Natalya taking on Izzi Dame. Karmen Petrovic is on crutches after an injury over the weekend. Dame drops Nattie with a shoulder block. Nattie goes for a Crucifix Pin, but Izzi catches her. Nattie then works on Izzi's leg. A basement dropkick sends Dame to the outside. She slams Nattie into the steel steps.

Shayna says that people have forgotten how dominant she was and that she's the only cagefighter in wrestling.

Lola says she's a superstar and doesn't have to do things like everyone else does. She says she brought Baszler back to NXT, but she is jealous of her.

Arianna Grace then walks over to introduce herself. She says they're 'not related' since they have the same last name. They don't mention how Arianna's father, Santino Marella is the Director of Authority in TNA. Tatum Paxley then comes over to ogle over Jordynne's title belt.

Kelly Kincaid is backstage with Ava. She says that Ethan Page was adamant about signing his contract out in the ring and not in the back. Trick then tells Ava to give him whatever he wants so he can deal with him. He doesn't want Page coming in to mess up what they've built. We then pivot to Jordynne Grace and Michin catching up. Sol Ruca and Grace exchange compliments before Jaida Parker interrupts to insult Michin.

Kemp rushes The Don off the ring of the bell but gets pancaked for the second fall.
Result - Tony D'Angelo defeats Damon Kemp 2 Rounds to 0 Rounds.

D'Angelo hits a few throws. He goes to the top for a move but Kemp pushes him off the ropes. He hits a Death Valley Driver as the time expires.
D'Angelo 1, Kemp 0 after Round 3.

Kemp hits a stomp and a short splash for a two-count. He hits a weak German Suplex for a near fall. Kemp hits two more but his shoulders are on the mat during the pins.

The bell rang during the commercial break and all hell broke loose. Tony D 1, Kemp 0 after Round 2.

Kemp gets a few quick pin attempts early on. The Don hits a Fishermen's Buster halfway through Round 1 for a win.

Up next is Damon Kemp taking on Tony D'Angelo for the Heritage Cup.

There's always trouble in the Chase Universe.

Apparently The O.C. attacked Frazer and Axiom at the Merchandise Truck earlier today. Because of the attack, Ava has 'thrown them out of the building' for tonight's episode.

Up next is Josh Briggs taking on someone. His music hits, but we see that Spears has blindsided him with a chair before he can make it to the ring. Je'Von Evans walks up, and Spears warns him not to 'do it,' but the two fight out to the ring. He hits a Suicide Dive in front of the announce table, but Spears returns fire by slamming him into the steel steps. Evans back bodydrops Spears on top of the announce table. He adds his Cutter for good measure.

Ethan Page comes out of Ava's office. He calls the deal nice but declines it since he has 'all of the power' in negotiating. Mr. Stone comes over and Ava shows him all of Page's demands.

Thea recovers and continues the work on Nyx's arm. As she does, Duke and Riley appear via the crowd. Hail hits a short slam and a somersault Senton before going for her Senton off the rope. She gets distracted by Duke and Riley before going for a standing Kimura. They walk the ref back into the corner, but Nyx hits her Pele kick for the win.
Result - Jazmyn Nyx defeats Thea Hail by pin.

Nyx kicks Thea's legs a few times. Thea hits a Standing Moonsault for two. She works on Nyx's arm before dropping for an armbar. Nyx kicks Hil in the gut and adds a kick to the chest. She then tries to work on Hail's arm.

We then cut to Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne refusing to accompany Thea Hail for her match tonight with Jazmyn Nyx. Andre Chase and Ridge Holland still go out with her.

We then cut to Charlie Dempsey doing his best Bobby DeNiro impression in the mirror until Myles Borne walks in. He tells Myles to get Damon, but Damon pops in as Dempsey still tries to make faces in the mirror. Charlie says that Damon is going to win the title and bring it back to 'the family' tonight. It's starting to be pretty funny with the NQCC.

Mr. Stone then comes out to announce that they'll have a six-woman tag team match tonight.

Booker calms things down before going to Sol Ruca. She says five souls will be snatched on Sunday. Lash loudly chimes in as expected. She says it's all about her on Sunday. Jaida brings up Trick Williams and Lash gets up. Everyone else joins suit and all hell breaks loose.

Book says he sees 'the future of this business' in the ring. He asks Michin first what she will do to win. She says she's had her face shattered in a ladder match before. Jaida Parker cuts her off and says it's funny that she thinks she can come in and run things, just like Parker did.

Henley cuts Parker off thankfully, saying she doesn't have to worry about anyone's feelings or dead weight. She adds it was created just for her. Kelani chimes in to say that no one wants it like she does (except for everyone in the ring).

Backstage from earlier today, we see Shawn Spears with a group of young recruits. Among them are Je'Von Evans and Uriah Connors. He goes over how Connors is a fourth-generation star while Evans has all of the tools in the world at such a young age. Josh Briggs comes in to call Spears out for his comments last week about calling Briggs a lost soul. Evans cuts Briggs off from decking Spears.

Out in the parking lot, Lash and Jakara are waiting. Trick Williams comes by to ask where Ethan Page is. Lash says that whatever 'this is between us' is over because she has a huge opportunity at Battleground. The NXT Women's North American Championship summit is next. I hope Booker T can keep Lash Legend and Jaida Parker quiet from talking over everyone.

Roxy gets in the ring after the match to get in Jordynne's face. They push each other in the chest before Perez escapes the ring with her title.

Jordynne hits a snap suplex on Turner. She lands some chops and two bodyslams in a row. After a back elbow, she hits a World's Strongest Slam and a splash before hitting the Grace Driver for the win.
