Time for some parking lot justice where people actually see the attack coming!

GRADE FOR WWE NXT FOR APRIL 8, 2025: B-.
The Grace/Parker match and main event were the best matches. Using the boys from Evolve felt unnecessary with so many other NXT stars sitting in the back with nothing to do. The qualifiers had some messy spots but multi-person matches are being handed out like a college kid trying to get people to see his band.

DarkState stands tall ahead of Stand & Deliver.

DarkState celebrated in the ring after the win, but Stacks appeared on the big screen to challenge them to a fight in the parking lot next week. Will a fourth person (other than Rizzo) help The D'Angelo Family out to even the numbers?

He lands a second, more explosive Spinebuster on Je'Von for two. Evans reverses a move on Dion Lennox before tagging Femi in. Femi pushed Trick out of the way though. He tosses Sugars and Lennox around like rag dolls. He throws Sugars into Trick accidentally before hitting Lennox with a pop up powerbomb. Trick gets in his face for the misstep but Je'Von pleads with both men to stay focused. He tags in and hits a Crossbody. Trick and Oba fight each other up the entrance ramp as DarkState hits a pop-up powerbomb with Sugars coming off the top rope for the win.
Result - DarkState (Saquon Sugars, Dion Lennox, and Cutler James) defeat Trick Williams, Oba Femi, and Je'Von Evans by pin.

Grade: B+.
There were a few messy spots but each member of DarkState stood tall at various points. Evans and Oba hit their spots well and the tension between all three was done well. DarkState couldn't lose their debut, but other than that, a good first showing for the faction.

Evans lands a Crossbody off the commercial break. Darkstate uses the numbers advantage to distract Evans and regain control. Cutler works over Evans. Lennox hits a Spinebuster.

Trick and Sugars exchange chops in the corner. He finally tags Evans and he goes on a spree with a Hurricanrana and stomp on Sugars. He blasts Cutler with a Superkick before hitting a Hurricanrana on Sugars. The Main Event Guys send DarkState from the ring ahead of a commercial break, but they argue with each other instead of taking advantage.

DarkState neutralizes Femi early on but he recovers. Trick tags himself in and almost gets a pin. They trade counters and arm drags. DarkState trips Trick to get a brief advantage. Cutler bodyslams Trick but Trick bodydrops Sugars and stays in the ring instead of tagging out.

Evans, Trick, and Femi cut off each other's entrances ahead of their match with DarkState. It looks like Dion Lennox, Cutler James, and Saquon Shugars will represent their team.

Uriah Connors and Kale Dixon watch footage backstage. Mr. Chase comes in to say they're moving too fast in the ring but they don't want his help. He changes his mind. Hank and Tank run in the room and are angry about their losses piling up. The Street Profits then randomly show up to yell "Be Who You Are" at them. They also reveal that Ava booked a gauntlet match for next week with the winners facing FrAxiom at Stand & Deliver. There's also a Fatal Fourway between Thorpe, King, Lee, and Page next week with the winner facing Ricky Saints next week.

Several women are in Ava's office arguing over who should get the final two spots in the North American title ladder match. Fatal Influence, Meta-Four, and Roxanne Perez all plead their cases but Ava says there isn't a last-chance qualifier this time. She does have another idea that she doesn't reveal.

Izzi traps Wren in a headlock but she escapes. Sinclair hits a facebuster for a near fall. She goes for a crossbody but is caught by Dame. She goes for a Uranage but Wren counters out. Dame then turns it into a sit down chokeslam for the win, but stops the pin before the three count.
Result - Izzi Dame defeats Wren Sinclair by pin.

GRADE: C.
The match had a weird pace and some strange spots. Decent counters and a few good spots, but Dame's premature celebration almost broke the pin.

Izzi Dame and Wren Sinclair face off for another spot in the ladder amtch at Stand & Deliver. Dame tries an Electric Chair move but Wren counters into a pin attempt. She gets a few more near falls. Dame lands a big boot before hitting a bodyslam and basement dropkick.

This is Wren's first television match this year. Notably Izzi had a wardrobe malfunction and a wedgie.

Trick Williams and Oba Femi cut promos ahead of their six-man match against DarkState tonight. Femi says he hasn't forgotten that the group attacked him at Vengeance Day.

Lee misses a 450 Splash and gets back bodydropped for his efforts. Inamura goes on a strike spree in the corner. Wes recovers and lands a few kicks in teh corner. Josh Briggs tries to check on ihs partner but Lee hits him with a Suicide Dive. Inamura recovers and hits a spining powerslam. He goes for a Splash off the top but Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont get on the apron. Briggs tries to neutralize them but he inadvertently cause Inamura to fall off the ropes. Lee hits the Cardiac Kick for the win.
Result - Wes Lee defeats Inamura by pin.

GRADE: B-.
Lee used his speed and Inamura used his size advantage. The match was decent but nothing special.

Lee goes for a Suicide Dive as Inamura approaches the ring but is caught. Wes lands some strikes but they have little effect on the Japanese star. He outquicks Inamura before hitting a Molly Go Round into the ring for two.

After the chaos in the ring, Ava and her assistants are wondering who Stephanie Vaquer will choose for Stand & Deliver. She comes in and says "all of them," referring to Giulia, Jaida Parker, and Jordynne Grace.

Fatal 4-Way for WrestleMania weekend?

Lexis tries to tell Lee that he gets that he wants to reclaim his glory days as Champ, but Thorpe then plays the race card with King, saying he's just another white man trying to take something he doesn't deserve. Page comes in from behind to attack Saints and all five men brawl.

Eddy Thorpe comes out next. He's mad that Saints walked in and got an opportunity while others, like him, had to work for them. He claims the North American title represents his people and the land that was stolen from them. Wes Lee is next on the promo parade.

Saints said he told everyone that he'd set NXT on its head on his first night and now he's the North American Champion. He's not totally into celebrating since Ethan Page ruined his moment. He calls Page out but is met by Heritage Cup Champion Lexis King and his beard.

Up next is new North American Champion, Ricky Saints.

Niko and Tank fight on the outside as Jensen attempts a rollup in the ring. Hank kicks out and hits a Bossman Slam before going to the top. He whiffs on a Swanton, allowing the Culling to hit a Doomsday Device Kneedrop for the win.
Result - The Culling (Niko Vance and Brooks Jensen) defeat Hank and Tank by pin.

GRADE: C+.
Vance stood out for his side as the loss teases more tension between Hank and Tank. It felt a bit short and makes them seem less than Swipe Right since they lost to a duo who hasn't been a team for more than a month.

From there, former AEW champion Ricky Saints arrives.

The meat boys pancake Brooks between them before doing the same to Vance. They go for a tandem move but Vance pulls Hank down and out of the ring. Jensen lands some punches. Hank gets the hot tag and hits a flurry of offense on Brooks. He kicks Vance on the outside before hitting a big boot in Jensen for two.

Hank and Tank take on Brooks Jensen and Niko Vance of the Culling next.

Giulia is leaving the arena and says "Stand & Deliver. Rematch," before walking off. She also says no friends, so I guess her and Stephanie are done.

Jacy and Fallon were clearly not happy with the result. Could a potential split be in the cards??

Sarah Schreiber tries to interview Je'Von Evans about DarkState, and he correctly states that he predicted the group would be a problem. Evans wants to be himself and not like Oba or Trick. He also claims Trick is trying to snuff out his potential before he can realize it. He essentially is saying Trick is trying to hold him down.

Ruca drops Nyx with a pancake facebuster. She hits a shoulder block and a few springboard elbows. She lands a backpack cutter-type move for a near fall. Jacy and Fallon distract Zaria, but it doesn't work. Nyx hits her Soccer Kick, but Sol kicks out. Sol lands the Sol Snatcher to pick up the win.
Result - Sol Ruca defeats Jazmyn Nyx by pin.

GRADE: B-.
There was decent chemistry. It was nice to see both women break out some different moves than usual instead of kicks and flips. There were a few clunky spots, but the right person went over.

Sol hits a facebuster that sends Nyx to the apron. She adds a suplex and a flip into a knee drop for two. She goes for a splash off the top rope, but Nyx gets her knees up. Nyx hits a springboard move before working on Ruca in the corner. She hits a Perfect Plex for two but then transitions into a Last Chancery submission. Sol breaks it, but Nyx hits a kick for a near fall.

Backstage, we see Fatal Influence arguing over who gets the one spot in a qualifier for Stand & Deliver. Fallon Henley says it'll be her so she can get her title back. Jacy Jayne says she already lost, so it's her turn. Jazmyn Nyx stands up and says it's her spot before walking off, leaving her veteran teammates befuddled.

This might be the end of Fatal Influence.

Axiom recovers with a Spanish Fly. Frazer comes in off the hot tag to hit a multitude of offense, highlighted by a standing Shooting Star Press for a near fall. The Evolve boys hit a tandem neckbreaker on Frazer, but Axiom is the legal competitor. He kicks Baylor and tags Frazer. Axiom hits a Spanish Fly off the top, while Frazer adds the Phoenix Splash for the win.
Result - FrAxiom defeats Swipe Right by pin.

Grade: B-.
Swipe Right got in too much offense against the tag team champs. If they were bigger or veterans, it would have made sense. Good flow of action.

The Evolve boys land a few moves on Frazer. He quickly hits a few kicks before tagging Axiom in. They batter both opponents with even more kicks, sending each from the ring. The champs land Suicide Dives on opposite sides of the ring for good measure. Axiom works on Brad Baylor, but Ricky Smokes makes a blind tag. He hits a spear into the ring. Baylor hits an X Factor for two.

Corey Graves says Swipe Right gives him weird vibes and talking to them is like talking to an internet meme.

Shawn Spears and the Culling powwow over losing the North American title last week. Spears actually praises his allies, saying the belt was the means for the group to come together. He says the pairing was always about the three of them shining and not him. That's not your typical cult leader wrestling heel.

Some teenage boys get lost backstage, so Hank and Tank try to help them. It's actually a tag team from Evolve named Swipe Ripe who are facing FrAxiom for some reason.

Grace attacks Vaquer in the ring, but Giulia returns to briefly make the save. After clearing the ring of Parker and Grace, Giulia hits Vaquer with a Northern Lights Bomb and holds up the title. Did she just turn heel?!

Jaida blocks a powerbomb off the top. She goes for a Tombstone, but Grace counters it into a throw. She hits a short Hypnotic, but Grace lands double chops on her chest. She slams her into the top buckle before hitting a modified neckbreaker for a close call. Parker goes for Hypnotic, but Grace ducks, sending her from the ring. Grace badly botches a Suicide Dive. Parker then walks over to Vaquer and slaps her. Grace grabs her, but Parker moves, and Vaquer slaps her instead.
Result - Jordynne Grace vs. Jaida Parker ends in a No Contest.

GRADE: B for match, C for finish.
The action was good and Parker matched Grace's power. It's always interesting to see how small yet powerful Grace is against bigger opponents. The finish was strange since they used the same tactic with the Women's World title on RAW.

Both women tease a move on the ring apron until Parker hoists Grace back into the ring. She hits a short Blockbuster for two. Grace gets caught up in the ropes, setting Parker up for her sit-down move.

Grace is showing INCREDIBLE power throwing around Jaida.

Grace rushes Parker and takes her down easily. They battle on the mat by throwing punches. After some fighting on the outside, Grace drops Parker on the mat and hits a clothesline for a near fall.

NXT Women's Champ hits the ringside area to watch the match between Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker. She says she'll make her decision for her opponent at Stand & Deliver after it.
